Modern spacious clean facility. Entrance has a front desk and a staff station for information and security. Rooms have well equipped spacious bathrooms. Larger beds and plenty of natural light. My 90 year old friends favorite is the bath and shaves. Sharon the dietitian is wonderful. You may dine in your room or the dining room. It’s my favorite restaurant! You have a menu to select what food you would like. Doug is the transportation specialist. Doug can pick you up at the hospital or take you to doctor appointments. He is very safety minded and professional. The team of caregivers is the best that I have seen in this type of facility. Our are experience is 18 days in December and 13 in February and March. We were there for rehab. Special thanks to Crystal, Sharon, Stevie, Carmen and Elaina. And all our unnamed heroes.

The building is beautiful and clean. It is a newer building. I think only been around for about 5 years. All the staff I came into contact with were super helpful and friendly. They always smile and say hello when passing by. The food is amazing. Better than some home cooked meals that I make lol. Therapy is also amazing.

The facility looks nice. I was pleased that there was a dining room for pts to eat in as my dad needed socializing and it said to me pts were being gotten out of bed at least at meal time. However when he arrived we were told the pts ate in their rooms. My dad called twice to tell me no one was answering his call light. I would question how accurate this was since I’m a nurse and know Pts often misjudge how long they waited. Except when I found him unresponsive I turned on his call light and waited 10 minutes before going to find someone. There were four people just standing at the nurses station. Their comment that he was always barely responsive told me they had spent very little time with him as he had been joking and laughing the previous day. Their staffing grid looks good but the amount of time staff was in his room was minimal when I spent the day with him. I was very disappointed in the quality of this facility.

My mom is in Sunterra Springs Independence for rehab. It's very clean, I think the people are skilled, they are working with her this morning for rehab. I've been very impressed with the facility and the majority of the staff. I walked through the dining area, it's very nice. The room is fine, even though it's not a very old place, they just brought in all new furniture in the room which surprised me, but it looks good. The meals they brought looked fine.
