I'm right now at Novel Place Senior Living. I feel like I'm being spoiled here. We have good people that will help me. I just go down for food and they take care of me with housekeeping. It's a nice place. They give you a menu for the week ahead and you pick your entrees. They usually have pretty good choices here. I've not had anything that I had to turn back. On the weekends, it's strictly buffet. On the weekdays, when you go down, they just serve you and you get a variety of drinks. They're just good. The servers know your name and they anticipate what you're going to want to drink. The food tastes good. They have a lot of activities available. Most of them are resident-led. They don't have fancy facilities, but we don't need anything fancy at this point in time. They have a courtyard where they can go out and have a firepit or barbecue outside. They have a door park, and we have some residents that have dogs, so it works out pretty well. Mainly I have interactions with the servers, and that's good. We don't have a swimming pool here, but we have an exercise room, a couple of game rooms, puzzle rooms, and stuff like that.

I have been staying at Novel Place Blue Springs for about a year and four months. It is a perfect location for me because I'm a five-minute drive from my brother. It's a brand-new place. It's a great location. It is right next door to a big Price Chopper grocery store, which makes it convenient for the tenants. It's just a very good location with regard to other conveniences like the bank, the dentist, and so forth. The staff members are somewhat limited in an independent living place, but we have a fabulous kitchen staff and a wonderful maintenance man with his assistant, who are terrific. We have a wonderful travel service that will take us to doctors back and forth if we can't drive. We can eat three times a day. My personal view is that the food here is fabulous. It is very good. Everything is so convenient and clean. It's a wonderful facility. They have a huge full activity calendar. They post the daily activity outside every elevator. They print activities calendars by the month. I've played the piano for about eight sing-alongs that they have. But they have all kinds of games, bingo, and some outside games in the nice weather. It's expensive.

We went to Novel Place Blue Springs. You walked into a big lobby. It was so nice. You feel like you're at a five-star resort. You can see the dining area from there. And then they have I want to say three floors, but I'm not sure. They have a library there. They had an exercise room there. They had big areas for television. They had a little work area with computers. The rooms were nice. They had a small kitchen and a washer and dryer. And they had a courtyard.

I lived in Novel Place Blue Springs last year for eight months because I had to go through surgeries and stuff and I needed some help, like cooking and cleaning. During the time that I was there, it was very lively. I always found somebody out doing something. The seniors were pretty active, even the older ones. I could pay to live there, but I live on a budget and they hiked up the rent to $100. Anyway, I was only there for a short period of time. It was a nice place. I recommend it to anyone. It's spacious and clean. They had two meals a day. On weekends, they had a buffet. They had games, a shuttle, and outings for the residents to keep them busy. For the money, it was well worth it. I'm active. So to me, that place was perfect. If you are fairly in decent health, you can get around, and drive, that's a great place to live. It's independent living but they had housekeeping, a shuttle, and a driver to and from your doctor's appointments. They're very good about if you call and put an order for something, usually that day or the next day, they fix it. They also have cards, yoga, exercise classes, arts and crafts, and a gym.

We chose Novel Place Blue Springs for my mother-in-law because of the location of the property, as well as the overall cost and the amenities offered. They've all been very helpful. They do have a gym. They also offer most meals seven days a week. They have transportation, and they have lots of activities. The location is right in the middle of everything. There's grocery shopping and restaurants right there. There's a hospital right up the street. They're having trouble with their hot water right now, but they're working to get it fixed.

So far, Novel Place Blue Springs has been a very nice place. The food here is very good. I would highly recommend them. You have your own washer-dryer and dishwasher. They keep everything clean and they provide meals (so I don't have to do the cooking). The staff is very nice and very accommodating. They're just top-notch. The dining area is very nice. We have a choice that we mark on the menu once a week. Sometimes we often forget what we ordered, but they don't. They have it on a schedule.

Novel Place Blue Springs was clean. The staff was friendly. The residents seemed very happy. The apartments were large. The amenities were good. They provide meals. They have a library. They have a fitness room. They have transportation to outings or appointments. They furnish laundry equipment in the apartment. I toured around lunchtime, and it smelled good when I went in there. I saw the menu of the day and it looked very, very good. I thought Novel Place Blue Springs would be a good fit for my sister.

We thought Novel Place Blue Springs was very clean, and it just seemed like it had a good feeling when we walked in. It seemed like a very caring place. The staff who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable, very courteous, and took the time in showing us all the facilities and features. So we were very impressed with it. They had a library, a video room, or a movie room, and they had a balcony for the patients, which is very important for my sister. They also had a separate reading room that was all screened, so you could go in there and read without worrying about the bugs and you're still being given the outdoor air and experience.

Novel Place Blue Springs is a beautiful place. It's brand new, it's beautiful, the prices are affordable, and the amenities are great. It looks like a brand new hotel. It's very modern and updated and has all the amenities you would need for one price. It has everything I need. They allow pets and it's just a one-time cost for the pets. So that's nice too. It wasn't like that at all places. Everybody is wonderful. And their paperwork is in order that they give you. They give you a couple of folders and they break everything down. You can put an apartment on hold for 60 days, you just put in $500, and if you change your mind, they give it back. If you go forward, that $500 goes toward your first month's rent. This was in a good area. The place is just geared towards everything you would need if you're 55 or older and you have mainly mobility problems, and the meals and stuff looked wonderful there, cause I went there twice to visit. They offer meals, you get a Continental breakfast and it was huge. And that's like from 8:30 to 10:30. And then they have dinner every day and it's two specials. But if you don't like what's on the special, they have a regular menu you can pick from. They give you a monthly calendar. Everyone has a cubbyhole, so you know what the meals are and you get to pick stuff out. So you just come down during that time and you give them your name and they serve you your meal. And if you want to take it back to your room you could, if you want your meal delivered to you, there's a $2 extra charge. So the food, with the two meals looks like plenty of food, that's Monday through Friday, and then on Saturday, they have lunch and Sunday they have brunch. And even with the continental breakfast, there's all kinds of fruit out there and biscuits and bagels, and they have scrambled eggs and potatoes and all kinds of juices and coffee and milk. There's just so much food in the morning, you can take a banana or apple with you or something like that, some fresh fruit, and other things. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

My sister is in Novel Place Blue Springs. So far, we're impressed with it. It's new, it's very clean, there are quite a few amenities there, and it's in a good location for her because a lot of the things she needs are just right in that area. It's located in a central location, and the staff seems to be very accommodating. She's only been there for about a month. We're pretty satisfied with it right now. The staff seem to be very friendly and accommodating. She's talked with the dietary department and maintenance. When she has questions about things she can do in the facility, she goes to the front window and talks to the staff there. So, they've been very helpful with her, very supportive. My sister seems to like the food very well. The room is a lot safer than where she'd live. It's set up according to ADA standards, so that makes it feel a lot better. It's smaller, but she has everything in there, the kitchen is just really nice, and it's a full kitchen. She has a washer and dryer in the unit, and that is very nice too. They have bingo, chair aerobics, walking clubs, and they have Bible class. Just the other day when I was there, they were taking a group of them out to the zoo, so they have outings that they can go to. When the staff leaves, they lock the doors. So you have to call up and get permission from whoever's living there to let you in, or I have a key fob so I can come in, but I like the fact that it's safe for the residents there.

I just helped my sister move in and it was a wonderful experience. Corey and Samantha are absolutely the best and are so kind and helpful. All of our questions have been run a timely and courteous way. The residents are friendly and have embraced my sister and have made her feel so welcome. I have eaten dinner with her and the food is outstanding. I am so happy about this move.

My sister is at Novel Place Blue Springs. It seems to be very efficient and a very nice place. They take them to different places. They also have a conference room where they can go and get movies and stuff on travel or whatever. They have a library and computers. They have about anything that you want. She just moved in, and I'm assuming it's everything she's going to need.

We liked Novel Place because we know some friends there, and the location is also convenient for us. The staff was very friendly, informative, and they answered all of our questions. The buildings were beautiful, modern, clean, and convenient. There were also no stairs, we don't have to worry about falling, and there's plenty of open spaces. We tried their food too.
