I went to The Madison Senior Living. It's very open. I didn't see a lot of diversity in the community, but the staff was nice. The patients that were walking around were pretty friendly. The dining area was nice. It was open and bright with a lot of windows, but I didn't try the food. The staff who gave the tour was nice. He answered all my questions and answered things that I didn't think I needed answers to.

I toured The Madison Senior Living. It's very close to where I live, only ten minutes south of here. With my medical conditions and doctor's appointments, I can stay in the same neighborhood because I do weekly blood work. I'm in the clinic every five weeks, but it's in an unknown area. The staff is excellent. I've been there twice for brunch, the food is great, and the living quarters are a brand-new facility. It's only been open for four years, but I've talked to lots of staff and members who have lived there short term and long term, and they all love it. They all don't have anything bad to say about it. They have an indoor heated pool that I can use because I have arthritis and can do exercises in the pool that help me. All around, it's just a good fit for me. I just like it. It's a very clean facility. I've toured 2 or 3 different types of apartments there, and they're all beautiful, and gorgeous. It's spotless and has a very welcoming atmosphere. All the tenants I talked to are very friendly and say, 'I hope you come and join us.' They have the same basic amenities as most of the other places. They have shuttles to take you to appointments; if you don't like it, they have all scheduled shopping trips. They have a library, a game room, and a TV room. There are all kinds of things and activities to do, but my energy level is pretty low most of the time.

The Madison Senior Living is kind of a long way out in more or less an industrial neighborhood. The only one that I could afford there was a studio. The unit was extremely small, partly because they put a full-sized washer and dryer in the only closet that was for bedroom-bathroom use. The closet that would be left available for hanging clothes was very, very small. I think it was brand new, and everything was nice. If I could have afforded a bigger unit there, I might have given it more consideration, but that was out of my budget. They are in the process of building a facility outside for more activities, like barbecues and things. It is not done yet. There was a storage place across the road. There was a convenience store/gas station on your way to the highway from the building, which could be nice. There are also plenty of shops within a mile, like Target and Walmart. The dining area is a restaurant, and it is open all day. You can go on your own time schedule to get meals, and all meals are included. Adjacent to that is a snack bar, where they put out a variety of snacks. A lot of them are healthy and some of them are not, but you can grab them at your convenience at no extra charge. I looked at the menu, and there was quite a lot of variety, including healthy options. It is a fairly new facility, and there weren't many residents around. I only met two staff members, and they were both nice, pleasant, and professional. They also have a few carports, but no garage parking. The reason that I rate the facilities that low is that they're not really efficiently planned. The studio apartment was like a hotel room, so I can't see anybody living there full time.

I will be moving into The Madison Senior Living. It's very nice, very new, clean, and the food is great. Everybody I saw there were saying that it's a very nice place. They're very helpful. The meal we had during the tour was very good food. The rooms are fine, and based on my tour I'm happy with them.

We liked that The Madison Senior Living was available and easy to tour. There was nobody there and we were able to pick out an apartment we liked. It was pretty convenient. The apartment was very nice and luxurious, and there was a lot of space for my dad to move around in his wheelchair, which was very convenient. I didn't get to meet a lot of their staff, just the sales staff that we've been working with for the most part. They were extremely nice and helpful, and the sales person went out of his way to make things work for my dad. There were lots of conditions that he had to adjust to; he went above and beyond. It's brand new and got a lot of nice amenities.

It is assisted living that I saw at The Madison Senior Living. It was a fairly new place. It's nice. The people there seemed to be very courteous and friendly. It's clean. The room that I looked at was a good size for my husband. It was a studio but well set up. They gave us just a little snack food while we were waiting, but they showed us a menu of what the people there would get, and it had a variety of things on it. The staff who assisted was very good. She's even checked with me two or three times since then. There was a variety of activities that would be provided for them if they care to take part. The facility was beautiful. It was a fairly new place, so it was in very good shape.

I went to The Madison Senior Living. It was just as good as the other one I saw, the staff was great, the facilities were great, and their rooms were a little larger. Some of the apartments were larger. It was all in one building, which makes a difference, because you didn't have to go from building to building. It looks spotless, it looks really good, and in the spring it's going to be beautiful. They had a dining room, a bistro, and underground parking; I think they had a fee for that. They furnished three meals a day, they gave us dinner to take home, and it was delicious. The staff was really, really knowledgeable, and really good. It opened in August, everything is in good shape, and it's pretty close to brand new.

I visited Madison Senior Living, and they were fantastic. Catherine and Olivia took me around, and they were great. Just by walking into the place, you felt like you should be there instead of being a visitor. They had a restaurant where you can order or you can come in, sit down, and have your breakfast and dinner inside. You can also just call, say what you want off the menu, go down, pick it up, and take it back to your room. I thought that was great. They also had an area where you could just come down and get snacks -- like juice, crackers, or things like that -- for free. They have a media room and a workout area. Their space did not have so many twists and turns, so you don't have to go here and there. The facility was big, clean, and bright. The rooms had patio windows and a washer and dryer. The young ladies who showed me around were more interested in the characteristics of my mother, like what she would be interested in, if she would like to get on any of their committees, or what she was doing in her past that would associate with things that they have there.
