"Our experience with The Wellington Senior Living has been pleasant. The staff has been professional. The food is better than average. My mother-in-law has fresh salmon that was grilled perfectly. So, she had a good meal. My meal wasn't that great though, but the menu looked nice. It is clean. The dining area is upscale, nice, and also very clean. It appears that it's a very good facility, and they have a very good assortment of activities on their list, like weekly outings. I think what we're paying for the services is quite expensive, but there's value in that. If there are services added, they charge for it, so you get what you pay for. You get an added service and a better place to live."

"I toured Riverstone and I enjoyed it. They served us a meal there, which was very good. The rooms were adequate, but I need a lot of room, so it was just OK. I saw their amenities, like the activity rooms, and it was a nice community. The people there were all very cordial, they were smiling, and happy. But there wasn't really anything particular that stood out to me."

"White Oaks at The Groves Senior Living Community was fine and we liked it very much. It's just that the location of the neighborhood wasn't ideal. It wasn't close to amenities and it wasn't the safest neighborhood. The upkeep was good and they were all very nice. We toured their independent living and the person who assisted us was very helpful, answered all of our questions, and was very personable. We saw a pool and shuffleboard but that wasn't something we were interested in."

"I took an in-person tour. They didn't have a swimming pool, which I would like; however, they're very impressive. The only thing I don't like about it is where it's located. They don't have too many people in it yet, but it's very impressive as far as the facility is concerned. The staff was very nice."

"I elected a two bedroom unit in the Independent Living Space and I love it. The apartment is moderately sized with big closets and nice bathrooms. I have enjoyed my interactions with the staff that I have met,"

"I will be moving in. I like the cleanliness, the bright colors, the friendly people, and the overall energy. I chose a 1-bedroom with a living room, kitchen, bath, and balcony. It's an all-new facility, so the apartment was very clean and would be adequate for me. They have a library, a gym, and a screened-in porch for sitting with visitors if you want to. They have two outdoor gathering areas, they have storage units you can rent, and covered parking is available. They have gathering rooms at the end of each floor for family visiting, meals, and so forth with family. I'm excited about choosing that place, and I think it'll be very good for me."

"It's quiet there at Brookdale Wornall Place, even though it's kind of in a busy area. It doesn't have anything behind it. There are fields there. Even though you're not very far off the road, it still feels like you're out in the country. The room has a small kitchen and a refrigerator. We looked at a couple of one-bedrooms. The staff who toured me around was very knowledgeable. It seems like he has been in the business for several years. He was very patient. I had my dog with me, and he took that well, too. The place was clean. I didn't smell anything. They got friendly staff. When you walk in, they got a large entryway. You don't have to walk up any stairs or anything. I noticed that they got ramps. We took the elevator, and we took the stairway, too. They have an underground, which was nice."

"I would give Garden Villas of Lenexa a high rating. I was just impressed. It was probably the oldest facility we saw, but it was beautiful and very well maintained. They have a gorgeous carpet on the floor that is pink and has big flowers on it. The apartments looked to be well maintained. You could have laundry in your unit for $25 extra. They gave my mom cookies to bring home, and they were hot out of the oven. They were chocolate chip, pistachio, cranberry or something like that; they tasted amazing. They were the best bakery cookies you've ever seen. They were really good. We didn't eat other food there, but it sounded like their food was good. If their food was like those cookies, the food would be pretty amazing. We met a lady who has lived there for seven years, and she said that the place is fabulous and loves it. The guy who toured us around has worked there for almost 30 years, and that's pretty amazing as well. He said that it's a great place to work and that says a lot about a place. He said the maintenance guy had been there 28 years or something too. To me, that says a lot. They had a swimming pool and outdoor spaces. The amenities were maybe smaller than some of the other places, but the outside spaces and the place looked to be very well maintained. Everybody who worked there seemed happy and engaged in what they were doing. They greeted us and were just very nice."

"I just helped my sister move in and it was a wonderful experience. Corey and Samantha are absolutely the best and are so kind and helpful. All of our questions have been run a timely and courteous way. The residents are friendly and have embraced my sister and have made her feel so welcome. I have eaten dinner with her and the food is outstanding. I am so happy about this move. "

"We chose The Parkway Senior Living for my aunt. We toured it twice. The location is close to where I live. It is brand new, and everything is brand new and beautiful. The kitchen is restaurant style, so you can have like eight or 10 choices for every single meal. It's a very nice facility. The staff is very professional and the rooms are bigger than any other assisted living we've seen. This is a high quality, very ritzy place. They have a movie theater. They have activities for nine or ten hours of the day. Everything is clean, freshly painted, and smells good. It's insanely nice."

"We liked that The Madison Senior Living was available and easy to tour. There was nobody there and we were able to pick out an apartment we liked. It was pretty convenient. The apartment was very nice and luxurious, and there was a lot of space for my dad to move around in his wheelchair, which was very convenient. I didn't get to meet a lot of their staff, just the sales staff that we've been working with for the most part. They were extremely nice and helpful, and the sales person went out of his way to make things work for my dad. There were lots of conditions that he had to adjust to; he went above and beyond. It's brand new and got a lot of nice amenities."

"We went over to The Princeton Senior Living, and we absolutely love it. It has a lot of amenities for us. They were wonderful and very friendly. They made you feel at home, and they explained everything. The rooms were a good size, and they had one- and two-bedrooms. The entire place was beautiful. We passed by their dining area, and it was really pretty. We have not tried their food, but they said we could. The building was absolutely tip-top, and parking was very easy."

"Crestone Senior Living is beautiful and new. The only reason I didn't go with it was that the rooms were a little bit smaller than the other facility. The staff was great. She was very nice and welcoming. We just had little appetizers that they brought out when we got there, and it was great. They had a library and a gym."
