I've made a lot of friends here in Riverstone Retirement. I like this place very much. I have been here since the 2nd week of June and so far, I'm very satisfied. The staff is great. There are a lot of things that you can do here. They have beanbag toss, Nintendo bowling, etc. They have a small gym and a sauna that is always available. They have a beautiful theater with stuffed chairs everywhere. They also have free ice cream. The only thing that I wish they had is a swimming pool; however, I definitely recommend this place.

I went to look at Riverstone. I liked the entrance and the ambiance that they had. I liked the facility. Generally, I did not like the residential rooms. They're outdated and look kind of dingy. The appliances looked cheap and outdated. The shower was an older style. When you walk into the common area, they have a pretty stone fountain pond in the front. They played beautiful jazz music over speakers. The dining area looked nice. The people looked happy enough there. The staff was nice. The food looked good. They had a beauty salon.

I enjoyed Riverstone. It was very, very nice and posh. As soon as you walk in, you think that you're walking into a grand hotel or something. The lady who gave the tour was very good. Everybody was very friendly. I had lunch there in their very nice dining area and the food was a five-star. Overall, it's a very nice place. They have a physical therapy place, a gym, and a separate place for bingo. However, they have not responded in the same way as all the other facilities I visited. I've only got one response after I got there and I haven't heard anything else from them. There's one facility that I went to that has sent me something in my emails or things. For me, that's a special thing.

Riverstone has most of what I'm looking for, so I'm considering that place. It's in a more secluded street and easier to get to. What I like best, is the location and the friendly atmosphere. They even have a resident take me to lunch and answer any questions I have. The apartment is about the same size as the other place I toured. It's just been remodeled so everything's fresh and new. The location is not on a busy street, so I won't be afraid to drive there. They had a nice salad bar, and they had several entrees. I was there for lunch, but they said they had breakfast and dinner too. The dining room was full of people enjoying the food. It wasn't extremely good, it was like home-cooked. The staff members who gave the tour were all wonderful.

I'm moving into Riverstone this march. The woman whom I dealt with and who showed me around was absolutely fantastic. She could not be any better: the way she presented everything, how she showed it, and the follow up that she did was absolutely fantastic. All the residents that I came in contact with are lovely. I saw them participating in things, I saw them eating, and it was all first class. The facility is lovely. They are redecorating all the common areas starting March 1. The apartments were very adequate, well arranged, clean, and had lots of storage, but it wasn't quite as modern as the other place. The layout is great.

We really enjoyed our tour of Riverstone. It was fantastic. We were there for three hours, they went over every little detail with us, and we really appreciated that. The room was great. We looked at three different rooms and we decided on one of the larger 2-bedrooms with a balcony. I liked all the activities they had. I liked their dining, we met the chef, they had a little area that had a fireplace that's nice and cozy, and it had a little bar if you want to bring your own alcohol or wine or whatever and drink. They had a nice exercise room, and you can get a garage there for extra $85 a month, which we're really impressed with. They had valet parking and a concierge that will take care of your needs. If you want to book an outing or whatever, they'll take care of all the arrangements for you. They have a bus that will take you to doctors' appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Mondays and Wednesdays will be shopping days. After the Covid is over, they have all kinds of little bus trips. My husband was really impressed with the prime ribs at the Sunday brunch. They even had a sign up welcoming us to the establishment. Everybody greeted us. The woman and her husband manage the place and live there, and the woman welcomed us and told us about everything else and that if the person we talked to wasn't there, to let her know and they'll take care of anything 24 hours a day. We really liked it. It was updated and modern. They're #1 on our list right now. My husband said he liked the kitchen cabinets and the appliances. They had flat top stoves. It had a nice atrium. He didn't really have anything negative about it. He would feel comfortable living in a place like that. It almost has a cruise-like atmosphere. There are many things you can do there instead of just being in your room or being just in the atrium. Their theater was great. I was very impressed with that. It's close to shopping, and they had a bus set up. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. He's excited about moving out of the house and going into something like that. It will take the work away, like working on the yard, all the maintenance, all the headache, and just go enjoy yourself and have a lot of fun with the people. We met some of them in the hallway. Even with the Covid, we had our masks on, just to get a feel for the place. We talked to the hairdresser and everybody was very friendly and down to earth.

I toured Riverstone and I enjoyed it. They served us a meal there, which was very good. The rooms were adequate, but I need a lot of room, so it was just OK. I saw their amenities, like the activity rooms, and it was a nice community. The people there were all very cordial, they were smiling, and happy. But there wasn't really anything particular that stood out to me.

Staff and residents we met were very friendly and helpful. Many activities and amenities that interested us. Liked the "open" hour of the dining room and meals. While apartment sizes were a bit smaller than I expected, the available storage is good, and so helps with lack of floor space.

Riverstone is just nice. They market was like you are on a cruise ship. It is just really open and decorated nicely, good activities, nice people, and good layout for the apartment. It is independent living, but you can get your meals, and they do housekeeping and that kind of thing. They have shows, they do movies, and they play baseball bean bag. They do trivia, coloring, and painting. They have a really nice dining area, and they have several different options. They have a fresh salad bar with fruits, a soup of the day every day, and a lot of options for your meal.

Riverstone is more independent; they don't have too much for assisted living. And they have a lot of planned activities. Their food is excellent, and it's very nice too.

I visited Riverstone, and I was impressed by the attractiveness of the design, the layout of the place, and what I saw from just moving around through the quarters. I loved the room that I was in, which was a guest suite. It had a pretty nice-sized living room with a kitchen and dining area combined and one bedroom and a bathroom. The décor was extremely pleasant. I didn't like the food all that much, but the breakfasts were very good. I stayed there for two nights, and it was an absolutely beautiful place. There were paintings all over the place; there were certain areas where they had landscapes, but a lot of them were brightly colored abstracts that I liked a lot. I enjoyed seeing them.

The room that my mom has at Riverstone is very nice, but she complains about the food. She says it’s not that good.

I visited Riverstone, and it was wonderful. Everybody was courteous. The apartments were adequate in size. The facility was well kept. They had everything that you would ever want including valet service and a place for guests that were out of town. They had everything. There was no question about it. They had all the activities you could ask for. They took trips, play cards, hand & foot, and bridge. They had two dining areas and a snack bar. One dining room was formal, the other was one was cafeteria style, and the snack bar was like Starbucks or whatever. I liked that it was a nice facility. It was expensive, and I do not think I could afford to live there, but it was nice.

I toured Riverstone, and the food there was marvelous. The food service was just terrific. All of us had a cane or a walker. So, what you do is, you get in the line and check out what you want to eat, and there is someone always waiting to take your food to your table for you. I thought that would be very helpful. It was new and bright. They were easy going. The rooms were laid out pretty much like a hotel room with living room, dining room, and a bedroom. Then they had two-bedroom floor plans, too. It was very nice. It seemed to be kind of upper class, and it was quite expensive. The atmosphere seemed a little cold, but I would recommend it to others.

Riverstone I thought was great. It was a very new facility. The location of it was very close, about two minutes away, from malls and restaurants. The staff was wonderful. Their rooms were spacious, modern and open. Their configurations I thought were very easy for elderly to get around and live in.

We chose Riverstone because the rooms were larger and the facility was more open compared to others in the area. The place was very clean, well-kept and up-to-date. The environment was warm and all the people were friendly including the residents. My mother had her own apartment. The place just seemed like a place to live rather than a hospital or a facility.
