"I have hired Right at Home Overland Park, KS for my wife. They have been with us for five weeks now. I have three CNAs that are on different schedules to fill in after the private caregiver goes home. The private caregiver comes in from 8 to 4, and then the agency comes in from 4 to 8:30 p.m. 6 days a week. My wife is incontinent, so they help with dressing her, they help with bathing her, they help with transporting and moving her if we go to the doctor when someone goes with me to make sure that we have two people when we're transitioning her. She has lupus, arthritis as well as dementia, so she's not very mobile. Right at Home was recommended by my Caring.com, and so I interviewed them and two others and I chose them. They're very experienced and they know what they're doing. I feel that my wife is in safe hands. The scheduling I'm not thrilled with, but they're doing better than the other two would have done. I didn't meet the caregivers before I chose them, and they've sent three very excellent, well-trained people."

"My caregiver from Home Instead is Gloria and she deserves a bonus. I've never had anyone else and I don't want anyone else. I like her. She comes in four times a week for 16 hours. She does everything I want her to do. If I want to go someplace, she takes me. If I don't want to talk to her, she doesn't make me talk. She does everything for me. "We had tried several home care providers for my elderly parents. Right at Home worked out the best and was just what we needed. They are very easy to work with... very patient to the needs and changes that go along with older folks. Very flexible. Will do whatever it takes to make things pleasant and comfortable for the client. Communication is great. The care givers they employ are the BEST ! They always went above and beyond what was asked of them. They became more like family then employees. They were some of my parents' best friends. "We are so pleased with our caregiver Susie. Susie is on-time, pleasant, communicative and is beyond patient and caring with Mom. Susie is here 5 hours a day, 5 days a week which allows my husband and I to take care of things around her home that desperately need done, as well as get a break from the daily stress of caring for a parent with dementia. The Liberty office calls promptly to let us know if our caregiver is unable to come in for some reason and offers to try to find another caregiver to fill-in, if we wish. The people I have are both excellent. One is a student. He's 18 and the other one is a lady. She's the owner of the place. The billing has been fine. "We are currently using Phoenix Home Care and they've been excellent. The ladies in the office are very good, and if the person isn't the right fit for you, they will find someone else for you and she has a excellent one now. The attitude is very mature for her age. She is a self-starter and she'll find things to clean and ways to keep herself busy. If mom goes and takes a nap, she finds things to do, things to wash, and she's just very good. She's very concerned about mom and takes very good care of her. Along with the caregiver, we have a nurse coming in and he is excellent, too. So, they also have a nurse, and they have physical therapy; my mom has not met the physical therapist, yet."
