"I moved to The Crestone Senior Living. Everybody is friendly and everybody is nice. The dining room is wonderful. So far I've managed to find everything perfect. My apartment is very nice. I'm at the end of the hallway, which I chose, but I think it's wonderful. The food is fantastic. They have a swimming pool where they have water aerobics. They have different groups that get together to play bingo and listen to music. They have a nice library. They have plenty of things to keep us busy."

"I had toured Armour Oaks Senior Living before. Because of the virus we were supposed to do a virtual tour, but everything was the same. The staff just sent me several pictures also, and it was just the same when I visited. They were very helpful though. The staff who assisted me was very nice. I didn't get to see any residents. The apartments were small, but doable for someone who's by themselves. It was basically two rooms; it wasn't an apartment. It was just a room that you could put a bed and maybe a TV in there, the living room area, which was the bigger room, then the bathroom off the bedroom."

"I went to The Madison Senior Living. It's very open. I didn't see a lot of diversity in the community, but the staff was nice. The patients that were walking around were pretty friendly. The dining area was nice. It was open and bright with a lot of windows, but I didn't try the food. The staff who gave the tour was nice. He answered all my questions and answered things that I didn't think I needed answers to."

"My friend has moved into here. We like the location, the facility itself, and the marketing person. It's a one-bedroom that we got to furnish for her, and she was able to bring her own things with her. It's a nice-sized room. I have not tasted the food, but she seems satisfied. They have a wide variety of activities, and I saw a calendar. She has not participated in anything yet, but they play games, they have a little theater for movies, they have ice-cream socials and a happy hour every week, they have special events like a Super Bowl party, they do crafts, and there are times when they take the residents out for drives around the city. They have a beauty salon and a gym, and they offer physical therapy. It had everything that we needed for her. It met our needs, so it's a good value."

"I was very impressed with that facility. I saw a lot of residents out and about, and even they voluntarily told me how much they liked it. I met some of the staff, some of the cooks, stuff like that, and it just seemed like a very, very nice facility. I think other people would be very, very happy with that if they took a look at it. The staff member, she just was very friendly, very welcoming, and very informative. They had a library. It was well lit, and it was very, very attractive. It felt homey."

"We chose Carnegie Village for my friend. It is wonderful! The staff is the best. Everybody that we've met there is friendly. They've gone out of their way to make her feel comfortable and get things set up for her. It has a bright feeling. She has been invited by the residents to join activities, of which there's always something going on. Every night they have games or activities of some sort. They have a full dining room in the evening, and the food is wonderful with specials for the residents. "

"I toured The Princeton Senior Living. The apartment was spacious, clean, and new. It had a small kitchen. You bring your own personal belongings and furniture. They had a lot of activities. They had a room for exercise and games. They had a big dining room. They had some transportation for shopping or field trips. The dining area looked nice. It looked like there was plenty of seating and tables available. We didn't eat there. It wasn't really near anything. The salesperson was courteous, provided good information, and was responsive. It was almost brand new. It was in really good condition and clean."

"Our Lady of Mercy will forever be my first recommendation to anyone in the KC area asking about Assisted Living. We moved my grandma there after she was neglected at another facility. The difference in care, culture and community at Our Lady of Mercy was such a breath of fresh air. The staff care so deeply for the residents and treat them like members of their own family. "We thought it was very clean, and it just seemed like it had a good feeling when we walked in. It seemed like a very caring place. The staff who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable, very courteous, and took the time in showing us all the facilities and features. So we were very impressed with it. They had a library, a video room, or a movie room, and they had a balcony for the patients, which is very important for my sister. They also had a separate reading room that was all screened, so you could go in there and read without worrying about the bugs and you're still being given the outdoor air and experience."

"We were impressed with The Parkway; except that we thought the living quarters were a little bit small. However, I have to say they were not furnished, they were empty. And when the rooms are empty they look a little bit smaller than when it's furnished. I mentioned this to the director. He called about a month ago and asked for a follow up. So he said if we'd like to come out there they can arrange to see a furnished apartment. During the tour the staff was very helpful, very friendly, very informative, and she answered all the questions that we asked. We went through the dining area, but we weren’t there during meal time. But it looked very clean and efficient. The tour was very good. "

"I liked Silvercrest at College View Retirement Community. I liked the environment. I like the friendliness of the people passing by. I liked the apartments that I saw. I passed by the dining room, and the residents were eating. I saw people on the treadmill. As far as activity, I just saw people passing by in the hall. They have an exercise room with equipment. The dining area looked good and smelled good. I told them what I was interested in, and we went to a studio apartment, and then we went to a larger one-bedroom. I liked the fact that they had a balcony. The outdoors had flowers and things. It was a nice entrance."
