"Crown Pointe was OK. I liked the location the best. The staff was pretty good. It looked like a pretty good place. The rooms were OK and maybe a little bigger than some of the other rooms. They have studios and one bedroom."

"The apartments at Walnut Grove were really nice, and they had lots of extra things. They had four meals a day. Somebody would clean your apartment twice a month. There were emergency contacts in case you needed medical attention. They had their own little pharmacy and exercise room. They had a calendar of events. They had transportation, if you needed it. The lady that gave us the tour seemed really knowledgeable about the home and their activities. She explained to us about the meals. She also explained that they had a program where if you traveled around the United States, there were other communities you could stay at in different cities."

"Our tour experience at Bloomfield was very fine and thorough. The community was very nice. It looked newer and everything was very well-kept. They had amenities. They had a gym. The room was hard to describe, but you walked into a kitchen, and then the living room was right behind the kitchen. Then to the other side was the bathroom, the bedroom, and some closet space. The staff who toured us around was very congenial and knowledgeable."

"I toured The Brant at Gretna. It was beautiful. I would have gone there had it been closer. It's not that far. It's just off the beaten path, the way my kids go. I did have food there, and the food was very good. It has a meal plan similar to the other facility, where you're allowed so much towards meals every month with your rent. And then, if you have more, you pay for some. You can get two meals a day. They had a washer and dryer and a smaller kitchen, not as big, which was fine with me because that's part of my problem. I'm tired of cooking, but the apartments were about the same. The person who took me around was good. She called back about a week later and wanted to know if I wanted to come and see it again. She was very good at her job."

"Our tour experience at Holiday Rolling Hills Ranch was very good. People were very polite and very nice. The facility was very clean. They had an exercise room, a library, and common areas where people were playing games and seemed very satisfied with themselves in general. So, it was a very pleasant experience."

"Connect55+ Omaha is an adult retirement apartment complex. They were very nice. We went and met a super nice lady there. She walked us around the community and showed us a nice apartment. It just didn't have quite as many amenities as the other place did. It was also a little bit more expensive, although it was closer to where we live and it's right across the street from a hospital, so that is a benefit to it. My father liked it because everything about it was nice. It was a nice community. He said he could live there. There were individual apartments like a senior living dorm. They all had their doors decorated. There were communal areas on each floor and a dining room where they do coffee in the mornings. They don't offer food there, but they do get-togethers like potlucks and then sometimes they all take a bus to Red Lobster or wherever. They have one- and two-bedroom apartments. My father looked at a one-bedroom. The only thing was they didn't come with a microwave or a washer and dryer. It didn't come with utilities other than cable and internet. It did have balconies. They did not have a pool. They had an exercise room and a library downstairs in the main communal area. They had a handful of books on each floor in the communal area there, which had tables and sofas, puzzles, and games. It was a little bit older though and the apartment didn't have the same amenities as the other place, but it was nice, and the residents we saw there and chatted with, were really happy."

"We went to Symphony Pointe. It's very new and it's beautiful and everything. But the apartments were smaller and the price was higher than the other facility. So that helped us with our decision. They were very friendly. We had lunch there and lunch was delicious. They're like a restaurant. You just go whenever you want to and order off of a menu, which is nice. But you don't go in a dining room setting where there are either residents. But it was lovely. It was very nice, but it's just not a right fit for us. The one thing was they had a pool, which that drew me. But the price, we just had to go with the right price for us."

"I visited Risen Son Christian Village. I went and talked to the guy and looked at the apartment for my sister. You walked down the hall and the staff was just very nice and acknowledging. The rooms were small, and that's one of the reasons why she didn't pick it. Everything looked nice. It was clean. The dining area was nice and clean."

"The activity directors at Grand Reserve at Elkhorn are real good, and the maintenance man and the managers are okay. They have good upkeep. I took an apartment on the end and the elevators are on the other end. When I moved in, I didn't have any problems walking; now I do, and that's too far to walk. The rooms are real nice. They play cards, but I don't do stuff so much because I don't know the games they try to teach me. They have bingo, twice a month. They have coffee and donuts in the morning. They read us stuff about what's going on. They have a food truck that comes once a week, and we buy food from them. Then they have potlucks. It's more expensive than what I want to pay, but I had to find a place in a hurry."

"I've visited The Wellington. The staff is wonderful, it's a nice community where people want to stay and make a home. They had a workout facility, they had a large eating space that could be moved to other things, and they had several small gathering places for games and interaction with other residents. Their staff members were super nice. They've been long-term workers who have been there for a while."

"I had a good experience at Cedarhurst of La Vista. I was impressed with the tour and everyone that took me on the tour. It was a new, beautiful facility. I saw a studio apartment. The one thing different about them was they didn't have carpet in the rooms. They had a fake hardwood, some kind of linoleum, or whatever, which I'm sure is easier to clean. The memory care was kind of a different wing. They had a central courtyard where only memory care could get to. It looked like they had a variety of amenities. I didn't see any participation in activities, but I saw the calendar. I didn't get to interact with the staff very much there."

"I've been here at Ralston House for over a year now. Now that they changed management, it's awesome. The people are friendly and people get together and play cards and visit. It's a nice area. They've got a beautiful courtyard. I have a nice one-bedroom apartment. I'm on the first floor, so I don't have to go upstairs or anything. It's very affordable for me. Everybody gets their own food. The residents get together and visit. It's just apartment housing for the elderly 55 and up. It's very clean and everybody cleans their own apartment. I have family members that come in and clean my apartment for me once a week. They get my trash out and everything. It's a nice facility."

"We're on the wait list at Fountain View Senior Living. I was very impressed with how personable they were and they spent a lot of time with us. My daughter went with me. They have 15 units, and they're more like studios. They have a courtyard and a common area where they have a few activities. The staff was very nice. Everybody seemed very friendly and personable. It had kind of a family atmosphere. It was very beautiful, very up-to-date, modern, clean, bright, and friendly."

"Richmont Village is really a great place. Everybody is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They have all kinds of activities, like shopping, trips, and bingo games. The layout is very convenient and nice. My apartment overlooks a courtyard. It is closed in by the building, so it is secure, and I like that."

"My father moved into Heritage Ridge Assisted Living. It's a pretty nice place, the director has been very helpful in moving my dad from a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom, which was cheaper. It's very clean, it's homey, I see a lot of people out and about, and they seem happy. He's got a little button that he can push around his neck and they're very receptive in getting there in a timely manner. If I have something to drop off they get it to him right away. Dad says he gets fed quite a bit, and he likes it. They have a club there, and he likes an occasional glass of wine, so that would be good. They have a library, rooms where you can do some projects, they have meetings, he is encouraged to go out, and there's an exercise area right outside his room. He's getting some physical therapy as well. The staff is nice and very respectful toward my dad. They clean his room once a week and he can take showers whenever he wants."

"This place was a blessing to me! I was fortunate to move there being younger to help my mom and take care of my disability. They accommodate me well and others. Gained many friends. Staff helpful, resourceful. Great driver and big perk for appointments etc. Good size place and pricing. Fun people. Learned lots from many diverse people from all over military to stay home mom's etc. Awesome activities and potlucks.. feel good mom is there while I had to move on and be with kids and out of state. Helped her transition into new beutiful one bedroom. She has many friends. Friendly place. Help each other out. In good and bad times. Geunily care for neighbor I felt. One plus for me I lost 70 pound's from just there little space of some exercise equipment, esp when weather bad, and needed something indoors. Wonder memories of coffee with many fine folks in morning I miss. Blessed to be able to still even though I'm not longer a resident. I'm welcomed and they message me and call me son and always a home away from home. Look forward to Future going see Mom and see new stuff they've done. Love you all. Please consider it. Lots to do and make life easier for an affordable housing. "

"I toured Harmony Court. It was very friendly. The hallways were wide. It just seemed like a nice, comfortable place to be. They had a nice courtyard in the back where people could gather, it was just a small one, but it was nice with trees around and stuff like that. They had meals for breakfast and lunch, and you could cook your own dinner. If you need rides to go anywhere, they have a bus that people can ride. They have plenty of activities. The staff who gave me the tour is very friendly, outgoing, and she really likes her job. The facility is very clean and up to date."
