"The staff at House of Hope Alzheimer's Care were very interactive with patients. It's overall a nice community. It's harmonious. They had a little party room, a garden, and a community room. They showed me a calendar, and there were quite a few activities. The upkeep looked good. Nothing appeared unclean. Everything appeared to be kept up pretty nicely."

"The reason why we chose Hillcrest Mable Rose is because it was wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms have sinks where the wheelchair goes underneath them. My sister liked this one. The staff is all very nice. They acknowledge you whenever they see you in the halls. They come in and check on her. The food is OK. I stayed there a couple of nights with her to get her situated because, in her condition, she still needs a little bit more help than normal. They have something every single day throughout the whole day. They even go on little trips. The director, Carol, is always wanting to make sure everybody's OK. She'll go around and tell everybody what they're getting ready to do. She's very likable and she's very nice. Everything's clean and neat. Nothing's out of place. It's all nice, even the laundry room."

"My grandfather went to Franciscan Centre and it helped him stay home with Grandma safely. She needed a break from caregiving, but he needed a break from being home too! We told him he was going to "volunteer" like he had for years at a local hospital, and it helped him go comfortably to the Centre. There are caring staff who know what to do for individuals with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. "
