I like the people at Bloomfield. I talked to this pianist, and she was with it all. She played by ear, and she knew every type of music. I really loved Bloomfield. I think they had one director and one assistant director, and I think there's super people. They knew their business, and they knew what they were talking about. They were courteous and friendly. They don't have a pool, but they have an underground park, which is a big plus. I wish to sample their food. Breakfast is continental, like you can have eggs or toast or cold cereal. Lunch and dinner is $14 a plate, and that's OK. You pay extra for that. They socialize very, very well, and they are very nice, very nice people.

The apartments are varied in design. Lots of different floor plans. The food is excellent. We have a dedicated chef who goes out of her way to make excellent menu items and goes out of her way to accommodate the residents. The staff is visible and very approachable. All in all is a great place to live. I wish I’d have moved here sooner.

Our tour experience at Bloomfield was very fine and thorough. The community was very nice. It looked newer and everything was very well-kept. They had amenities. They had a gym. The room was hard to describe, but you walked into a kitchen, and then the living room was right behind the kitchen. Then to the other side was the bathroom, the bedroom, and some closet space. The staff who toured us around was very congenial and knowledgeable.

I am going to be living at Bloomfield Forum. It's lovely and the big factor is it's in the city, so it's close to everything. It's very friendly and the right size, about a hundred people. You don't have to pay for meals except if you eat them. Tracy, the person who assisted me, was wonderful and fabulous. The food is very good, but they're just dinners. They have all kinds of game nights and bus trips. The people in the office were fabulous compared to other places. The minute a resident came into the office area and wanted anything, everyone stopped to help them, so they're very oriented to the residents. Everybody was working together and the staff was very active with the residents. I'd recommend it to anyone.
