"It is a 55+ apartment, and my Dad seems to like it just fine. The apartments are really nice. They have a full-sized kitchen there. They have movie nights and a game room. He doesn't really partake in any of that, but they have it there if he wanted to do that. It's clean and in a nice location, but he's been having trouble with the internet service. They don't have a dining room or food there."

"Primrose Retirement is very nice, and the staff is excellent. We had a nice experience there. It is independent and assisted living. The independent living is wonderful. It has great size and everything, but if you had to go to assisted living, you have to go into a studio apartment. That I did not like. They are exercising every day and card playing. They have all kind of things you can do. "

"My father is moving into Graceview Courtyard. He's getting into their new wing. It was nice. The head lady that's running it is super friendly and super helpful. The units are nice. Everything is brand new. It comes with everything, and it's all clean. You can do handicapped accessible or partially handicapped accessible, so it was accommodating. They have a wellness room with exercise equipment, they have a dining room, they watch movies, they do bingo, they play various games, and they do get-togethers. They have a calendar of activities. They have coffee in the morning, too. There's a lot of social interactions. The staff are very helpful and super nice. We ran into a couple of maintenance guys, and they were nice as well."

"I visited the independent living section of Chapters Living of Council Bluffs, and it was very nice and clean. The person who took me on the tour was very nice and very knowledgeable. The grounds were nice outside, not just inside. It just seemed like it was a good fit for me. I went through the building, and they took me into one apartment, which seemed very nice. I like the layout. I just saw the independent living part of it, but they also have assisted living and a memory care unit. I did not go to either one of those because that's not what I was looking for, but you never know what the future is going to bring, so it was nice to know that it was there."

"We went to The Heritage at Fox Run. It was very clean, exceptionally clean. The staff was very, very nice and cordial, very helpful. The. food that I ate was good. The residents were just a little bit older or needed more assistance than we were ready for. We have an invitation for a barbecue this Wednesday from them. They keep in touch. And some of the other people call too, which is nice. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained, but they weren't that big for what we wanted. We wanted at least 1400 to 1500 square feet. The staff was exceptional. What I ate was food for a picnic, a barbecue. And that food was really good. Hamburgers, hot dogs on the grill. They had parties, they had bingo, they had cards, they had games. And then they got together and made things like masks, or pictures. They had things for the people to do if they wanted to. They check in every morning, you have to call them or buzz them every morning to let them know you're OK."

"Richmont Village is very new and reminds me of a hotel. It's nicely decorated. My father-in-law is on the 1st floor. The staff is very nice. The rooms and the units are different sizes and I like the size of the unit that he's in. It has a kitchen with a microwave and a refrigerator, but since he doesn’t cook, he has meals provided. I particularly like the activity schedule for the residents. It’s a varied program that includes day trips, visiting musicians, and has a lot going on. "

"I toured Harmony Court. It was very friendly. The hallways were wide. It just seemed like a nice, comfortable place to be. They had a nice courtyard in the back where people could gather, it was just a small one, but it was nice with trees around and stuff like that. They had meals for breakfast and lunch, and you could cook your own dinner. If you need rides to go anywhere, they have a bus that people can ride. They have plenty of activities. The staff who gave me the tour is very friendly, outgoing, and she really likes her job. The facility is very clean and up to date."

"Aksarben Village was brand new too. They just opened last December. It was beautiful. The people were all well. They had plenty of activities. They had a beautiful dining area, and the apartments were very nice and very roomy. The person that assisted me there was great. I liked her very well. She was very knowledgeable in everything. She was very helpful. They had all kinds of things there. They had a beauty salon, and they had a movie theater. "

"My brother is staying at Heritage Ridge. It’s really nice, and it’s only about 6 years old. They have one whole wing that is independent living, and they have another wing that’s assisted living; these wings are connected. They have cafeterias that are restaurant style, and they even have a little pub for happy hour. They have a machine that makes coffee, hot chocolate, and cappuccino. They have 3 of the big meeting rooms for activities. They have a popcorn machine, a vending machine, an ice cream machine, and a game room. The staff was so friendly, it was amazing; they were checking on him every hour just to see what he is doing. I feel more comfortable having him there. "

"We're going to put my parents in Immanuel Village. My mom liked it. Everybody was very friendly and helpful, and the price was really good. Everybody was very nice. They knew all the residents' names. I was just very impressed. We're going back for a luncheon. The apartments themselves were very spacious and each of them has their own balcony. The bedrooms were big enough for a king-sized bed. It had newer kitchens. It had a beautiful garden area where they could go out. It's got a fish pond and walking trails. We saw restaurant-style food. We didn't get to taste it, but it looked beautiful. They have an area where if the residents want to go and plant their own flowers, they can. It's huge. There are six floors and they have an elevator, so getting around is very easy. They have a gym, a beauty salon, and a shuttle service. On Mondays they take everybody to the grocery store. They go on certain outings. The staff member during the tour was awesome. It was very clean."

"I don't know what others have seen at Skyline but my experience was totally different!! The people that live there are very well taken care of and the place looks very nice and clean. The entrances can be confusing but once you know your way around its not a problem at all and definetly no reason not to send your loved one there. Our loved one was recently there for a rehab visit and there care and rehab was top notch. The new owners have really started to turn the place around. Its nice to have a facility in the Benson/Omaha area that offers great care. We don't have to send our loved ones all the way across town to receive quality care. Thanks for all you did while our mom was there!! "

"This is the place where I'll be going once my contract ends with my current facility. I really love the place. They have an underground parking lot and it's wheelchair accessible, so my husband doesn't need to carry me out of my wheelchair during snow or when it's raining. The facility has spacious rooms, pet friendly, and they have a garden. The place was so neat and open. They have a lot of trees and I can garden on my patio. The people at Arboretum from the manager and staff were kind and so warm. They have pretty nice amenities, the price was so affordable, too. It's half of the price I'm currently paying with the one I'm at right now. So it's a very good deal for us. "

"I've been here at Ralston House for over a year now. Now that they changed management, it's awesome. The people are friendly and people get together and play cards and visit. It's a nice area. They've got a beautiful courtyard. I have a nice one-bedroom apartment. I'm on the first floor, so I don't have to go upstairs or anything. It's very affordable for me. Everybody gets their own food. The residents get together and visit. It's just apartment housing for the elderly 55 and up. It's very clean and everybody cleans their own apartment. I have family members that come in and clean my apartment for me once a week. They get my trash out and everything. It's a nice facility."

"My grandfather went to Franciscan Centre and it helped him stay home with Grandma safely. She needed a break from caregiving, but he needed a break from being home too! We told him he was going to "volunteer" like he had for years at a local hospital, and it helped him go comfortably to the Centre. There are caring staff who know what to do for individuals with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. "
