I chose The Heritage at Fox Run. What I got is a studio, which is like a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Two meals are included, breakfast and lunch. They have a dining room there. The staff who assisted me was quite nice. In terms of cleanliness, it looked very nice. It looked good. They say they have garages, but they're all full, so they're not available.

Heritage At Fox Run was nice. The rooms were nice and clean. They had good-sized rooms, just a little pricier than what we were looking for. They had a lot of scheduled activities, which was nice. Activities were different every single day, so that gave my grandma could have good interaction with the people, which I think is what she needed. I like that part of it. They had a patio and a garden. They had a beauty salon, too. The staff who toured me took her time and she had dinner with us. She took time to get to know my grandma and what she needed. The food was a little bland for me, but the dining area was very clean. The lighting was good, too.

I love The Heritage at Fox Run and Mom did as well. We loved the place. I have nothing bad to say about them. They were wonderful. I tried the food there and it was delicious. The rooms were nice. The activities were very full in the days and there's a lot more to do since it's a larger community. I saw the apartment and met all the people and it's very wonderful there. They have so many amenities. They have an ice cream parlor, a salon, a happy hour room that has billiard tables, card tables, and a little bar-type lounge with tables where they can socialize and have wine and cheese if they choose to at happy hour. They also have a movie theater, a beautiful garden, and a lot of common areas and things going on all the time. When I was there, all the people were eating. So, all of them were out. I did not see anyone sitting alone up against the walls. They were all socializing at the tables. They were all smiling and singing Happy Birthday to someone and interacting. I did not see anyone alone or anyone looking sad. The staff were wonderful. The food was great. It was like meatloaf and mashed potatoes and a delicious vegetable. The dessert was wonderful, too. The dessert I remember was ice cream with a home-baked sugared cinnamon stick. It was really good. We had iced tea. The facility was nice and clean. The Heritage at Fox Run is very fair for the amenities that they're giving on what they're charging.

We went to The Heritage at Fox Run. It was very clean, exceptionally clean. The staff was very, very nice and cordial, very helpful. The. food that I ate was good. The residents were just a little bit older or needed more assistance than we were ready for. We have an invitation for a barbecue this Wednesday from them. They keep in touch. And some of the other people call too, which is nice. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained, but they weren't that big for what we wanted. We wanted at least 1400 to 1500 square feet. The staff was exceptional. What I ate was food for a picnic, a barbecue. And that food was really good. Hamburgers, hot dogs on the grill. They had parties, they had bingo, they had cards, they had games. And then they got together and made things like masks, or pictures. They had things for the people to do if they wanted to. They check in every morning, you have to call them or buzz them every morning to let them know you're OK.

My first impression is that the facility is very clean and well maintained. The apartment that my mom and dad selected had been freshly painted with a wonderful color scheme. I felt that the apartment was very spacious. I noted a full size refrigerator and microwave. The apartment has a fire alarm and sprinkler system. There are also alert systems in the bathrooms if help is needed for any reason. The bathrooms have safety/grab bars installed. The showers are "walk in" and have easy access. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and the servers are very friendly. The residents are also very friendly and welcoming. My mom and dad's medications are provided in a timely manner. The staff takes their blood pressure daily and my dad's blood sugar as well. The medical evaluations are completed on each resident so that everyone's needs are properly assessed. Cable TV and internet are provided, as well as all utilities. Laundry service is also available. There are different levels of care and a memory unit as may be applicable. Fox Run also provides many activities. I attended an Elvis Impersonator and enjoyed the concert. I feel that Fox Run at Heritage is a wonderful facility and I would recommend it as a safe, well staffed, and managed facility.

My father moved into the Heritage at Fox Run. It's a very clean facility. It's well lit, and it's very home-like. The staff has been excellent and very friendly. They're always available to answer any questions that I have as a family member, and certainly really good at interacting with my dad as well. Dad is enjoying the food. He has been cooking for himself for five or ten years. He has slipped into mostly dinners and stuff like that. He enjoys what seems like home-cooked meals. About once a week, they go out for lunch. He enjoys doing that and just getting out of the facility (since he doesn't drive). It's nice to go on those outings. During the week, he routinely participates in bingo. If they have guests like singers, he enjoys that kind of stuff. He's not really big into socializing activities; but if there's something to do, he enjoys that. They've got a nice coffee shop where you could always go and get snacks if you want. The enclosed courtyard is beautiful. There's a variety of plant life. Some of the residents grow their own vegetables, so that's kind of fun. I like the location. It's not in the middle of town, but it's not out in the suburbs either. It's just on the edge, so it's pretty quiet there for him.

We had a very good tour experience of The Heritage at Fox Run. It's a beautiful community, very welcoming, nice looking, and clean. I'd love to live there, but can't do it, it is out of my price range. The staff is also pleasant and they acknowledged you. I was impressed with the knowledge of the staff and the management. The appearance and the layout of the facility are just good.

My mother is happy at The Heritage at Fox Run. She was having problems, and Fox Run felt like they couldn't keep her anymore. I like how they have everything for her. She goes to her dresser, and she's right there. She loves to have her hair done, and they get her hair done every week. She loves the activities like bingo, the singers who come in, and the chapel. My gripe about them -- and I know it's this way with every care center -- is I know you have good staff and bad staff. You just hate to see the bad in some little things like the laundry. We're allowed to get into her apartment now because they've had their shots, as long as we wear a mask and everything. I had to put her laundry away; it's like they cram things in her drawer that they should hang up. I know some staff would do it and some wouldn't. They do a good job, but some of them don't have as much patience as the others; but you find that in every healthcare center, and there's nothing we can do about it. But most of the staff there are really, really good. On the outside it looks beautiful. They're on a golf course, and their grounds are kept immaculate with flowers in season. It doesn't have that "smell" that some places do. It's a very clean, very attractive place, and they have things decorated so prettily in the hallways -- like my mom's door. We bring paints to decorate her door, and they have a little cubby that we decorate for Valentine's Day. It's very nice. I think their food is really good. When we moved my mom in, the administrator was so nice, and he got us food from the kitchen. And it was really good. I would say you get a lot for your money.

The Heritage at Fox Run was awesome. The rooms were amazing. We were all very impressed. There were some people in the cafeteria, they showed us the lobby, eating area, the area where they meet for cards and games, a courtyard, a one-bedroom apartment, and an efficiency room. The staff was awesome, very friendly and very accommodating. It would be a good place to be.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the facility. This was very important to us while we were searching for placement for my mother. The staff is very friendly, and took time to make sure we understood how everything worked. We viewed several different size apartments before choosing a larger one bedroom. I was surprised at how spacious the apartment is. It allowed us to move a lot of her things in, to make it feel as home-like as possible.

Fox Run was the one that I liked a lot. It was a medium- to small-size assisted living but had ice cream and cookies are always available. It was a very nice place, 10 to 12 years old, but you could not tell because it was kept up to date. The people were very nice. The residents just came out of lunch and were all upstairs sitting together on the second floor. There were elevators to take them up there. When I first came in, they were playing cards, chit chatting, and having other interactions between the residents. The personnel was very informative and very helpful. If I had a question, she answered it. She was very open about the place. It just looked clean. In the room, there was some problem with cabinet stain that needed to be replaced, but if you had to move in, you could ask for it to be fixed, and I'm sure they would oblige.

Fox Run is excellent, and in only one area did I find it lacking: they have very small apartments. Other than that, it was just perfect. As of now that is where we chose to go. But it is only assisted living, and I'm honestly not positive if we qualify for assisted living. We cannot afford assisted living without using our long term insurance. The staff is great. The rooms are very nice but very small. The food is less important to us. I'm sure it is fine. There were some menus, and the dining room is lovely. The people were eating at the time we were there, and they all seemed to be happy, so it would have worked out just fine.

My mother was a resident for a couple of years here. She truly enjoyed her time here and the staff was friendly toward her. I would have loved for her to be able to return but she requires more care than they can give at this point.

This assisted living environment is a place you are comfortable with at first impression. The facilities are appealing to the eye and kept up well. It seemed more like a home to its residents than a care facility. I have been to many assisted living facilities and this one really stood out. All of the residents that we saw and talked to seemed happy and like they were able to do a lot of things that they liked to do. The staff was very friendly and had time for the people. I really liked that each resident seemed to have their own care plan based upon their needs. They were able to be as independent as they could be or wanted to be. There were several areas where residents can gather together and socialize if they want to or the living areas are nice too if they want to spend time alone. I was not there at meal time but from the two relatives of my friend, they both said the food is always very good and better than they expected. This is an assisted living facility that I would definitely recommend for others to take a look at if they are in need of a facility like this for either themselves or a family member.

The Fox Run Assisted Living facility was well managed and clean. The staff was caring and meticulous when tending to the members and families. Although it was not originally our first choice when considering assisted living facilities, it pleasantly surprised our family with how wonderful and comfortable it truly was.
