"My father-in-law is at Northland Rehabilitation, and so far, they have been great. The staff has been really nice and helpful with him. They have art classes every other day, and bingo a couple of times a week. When I was there visiting Dad, they had a gentleman entertaining the ladies and singing songs by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, and they were having a blast."

"Pleasant Valley Manor Care Center keeps my mom's room pretty clean. She does some activities with them, and they keep the people fairly busy. They are just understaffed and they need better varieties and more balanced meals. They're all working on those problems, though. It's just kind of hard right now."

"I've been living in Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. They have physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech. The rooms are spacious. The faculty is extremely nice. The nurses are good. We have a large activity room, a large dining room, and we have a garden area where we have planted a garden. It's just a very homey place to live. The food is home cooked, and it's very good. It's seasoned well, and it's hot. The facility is good and clean. We have bingo, dominoes, skip-bo, and wheel of fortune. We have a library and art class. We have almost six things that you can go through during the day, and you can pick and choose if you want to go to them, and if you don't want to go, you don't."

"I had my grandmother in this facility for almost 2 years. Everyone was so nice to her. I never worried when we would go home at night, I knew she would be very well taken care of. The nurses were very good about calling the family if they sensed any physical or mental changes she had. I will always be appreciative of the staff "

"I'm in Tiffany Springs Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. It's great. They have bingo, outdoor adventures, and arts and crafts. The food is healthy and tastes good. My room is very clean. I'm in the nursing home. I'm not receiving any therapy right now, but every so often they offer it. They have books that you can read, and they offer a movie once a week. The dining room is clean. The staff is very nice and they seem to know what they're doing. They've got two to three different areas where you can go outside and sit, and they've got flowers and some vegetables growing. They have singers come in and different things."

"We chose Ashton Court because of the location, I can see my mother-in-law several times a week. The rehabilitation facility is excellent. The staff is very pleasant. They were very patient, and Mom-in-law has even remarked at how nice the people are to the patients. The rooms are being remodelled. When she first went in, the rooms were very clean. They are two to a room, and I wish the rooms were bigger, though. "

"My father is at New Mark Care Center (New Mark Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center). He's in the nursing home because he's in hospice care. It is an older facility that has been updated. It has very nice amenities for the nursing home rehab patients that are there. Families can call and schedule appointments to meet with their family for 30 minutes, and two people can go visit. The staff seems to be very friendly. They are not always on top of things, but they're very friendly and helpful. They have activities, but since my father is in hospice, I don't know about those. He has said that the food is pretty good. There are some better than others. He seems to like breakfast the most because there are always pancakes and scrambled eggs. They always have at least two choices for the residents when they go to the dining hall. His impression is pretty good."

"My aunt was recently (a week ago) released from Liberty Hospital to Liberty Terrace. I had heard stories about the lack of care but also that they had recently gone under new management. Whatever it was before it has certainly changed for the better. The place was clean, there were Xmas decorations everywhere, and the staff greeted me all the way down the hall. My aunt is mentally challenged and they were so sweet to her, very patient and even moved her to a room closer to the nurses' station so they could keep an eye on her. The food was good and they offered my family and I complimentary dinners. My aunt's caseworkers were up to date on her case, the nursing staff knew what the doctors had ordered for her and even contacted them to modify her meds on a Sunday when they noticed how agitated she was. This was the best nursing home I've ever experienced. "

"My grandmother moved into Maywood Terrace Living Center. It's a dementia facility, and it's a nice facility. The part of the facility where she is, you have to have a passcode to get in and out. The staff is very nice, concerned, friendly, and helpful. The food looked good. I've been there during some meals to help and assist my grandmother with eating. They have snacks, like pizza, donuts, and cupcakes for people's birthdays. I'm pleased. They have a large dining area, and part of it is for activities. They do things to make them happy and pleasant. I'd see that there's always someone giving attention to whatever needs to be done. I remember coming in on a Sunday, and they kind of had a devotional. Other than meal times, they watch TV, listen to music, and stuff like that. We're Medicaid pending."

"My mother and my cousin were patients at Medicalodges. My mom was there twice for rehabilitation. I was very satisfied with their service. They will keep you inform. It was like a family facility. They're close to the family of the residents, and let them know how they're doing. This place is very good. They feed them three times a day, give them showers, clothed them. It's a good facility. They both went to different activities that they had like bingo, their hair and nails done, and they give allowance for whatever they needed for what's not in the cafeteria. "

"My sister was in Ignite Medical Resorts for rehab. The overall experience was good. She loved the food, she loved the atmosphere, it just seemed like the right place for her. The accommodations were nice. It was kind of compact, but they were nice accommodations. It was not too large of a room. The staff was personable, professional, they did a good job. I ate only once, it was prepared by a chef, and it was tasty. It wasn't bland. She would talk about playing bingo and card games and things like that. She stayed there for about two months."

"The only complaint I had was that the people that lived there were very rude. They seemed like they were so annoyed with the staff that they could not help but be rude to any one and every one that crossed their path. My mother lived in the facility and she loved it. She loved how the nurses friendly the nurses and med techs are. She even has some that she considers her close friends. The cost isnt extremely . I loved the way the places were set up. The closets are generous. and cable tv and utilities are taken care. With the new technology they adopted i am able to stay connected w/ the staff easier. I also liked that they would give my mother bathing, dressing, and appointments. "
