"I've been to New Mark Care Center a number of times. The therapy part of it is just fabulous. They had every kind of therapist you could imagine. They really made you work for your hour or two-week stay, and I could really see the progress. I was just amazed. They were professional and friendly. After COVID, when I had to go there and stay in the long-term care part, I had one physical therapist, one occupational therapist, and one speech therapist. I genuinely liked the physical therapist. The occupational therapist was very good, too. The food has improved. You could get what you wanted, and it was usually pretty good. The upkeep was always excellent over there. The facility was very clean. It's an older building, but they have really worked to upgrade it. All of the rooms have roll-in showers. They really did pay attention to the details on that. They seemed to have a few activities, but most of the time everyone just got together in the common areas. My healthcare was really good about paying for it. Sometimes I have to stay there a little longer, and I end up having to pay out of pocket."

The Staff from the Regional Director, Admission Coordinator, Receptionist, Doctors, Nurses, CNA's and other Staff will treat your loved one with exceptional care. This is my family's second time having a loved one trusted in their care and we have not been disappointed by anything. Our family is on the journey to smile again knowing our loved ones will be safe and cared for with precious hands. "My experience with the Linden Woods Community has been great. The staff are helpful and engaging and the community itself is open and bright. The activity calendar is full of different activities for all levels of participation and they have several community events during the year that bring people to the facility to socialize and interreact where residents are safe and comfortable. Meals are very good and the salad bar is a nice fresh treat. The building is always kept clean and safe for residents in and out of their apartments/rooms."

"My mother and my cousin were patients at Medicalodges. My mom was there twice for rehabilitation. I was very satisfied with their service. They will keep you inform. It was like a family facility. They're close to the family of the residents, and let them know how they're doing. This place is very good. They feed them three times a day, give them showers, clothed them. It's a good facility. They both went to different activities that they had like bingo, their hair and nails done, and they give allowance for whatever they needed for what's not in the cafeteria. "

"I toured Riverbend Post Acute Rehabilitation. It’s near, I liked it, and it’s nice and neat. I knew people that live there, but I couldn’t afford it. The rooms and the staff were really nice. They have a cafeteria for the residents, they have house cleaning, and they played Bingo and have happy hour."

"Pleasant Valley Manor Care Center keeps my mom's room pretty clean. She does some activities with them, and they keep the people fairly busy. They are just understaffed and they need better varieties and more balanced meals. They're all working on those problems, though. It's just kind of hard right now."

"We're moving our aunt to the Healthcare Resort of Kansas. I liked it because it has an open-air feeling. The facility seems to be very neat and clean. They don't have a huge number of residents. They have a nurse onsite 24 hours. We just thought based on those recommendations, they have the things we were looking for, so we're gonna give it a try."

"My mom had been in Twin Oaks Health & Rehabilitation three or four times over the past four or five years, and she was very happy with the therapists there. Each time, she would work with the same therapists, and they would even go to her home and work with her when she needed the extra exercise and work to make her more comfortable, to help her balance, and strength just to build her. When she was there, they worked with her at least twice a day in the room where they do their therapy. They would work with her on machines to help her give her exercise in the upper part and the lower part of the body. The therapist would also come once a day and walk with her up and down the hall to try to help her balance and everything. They were wonderful. They were very professional. They knew their job. They knew what to do. They were trained. They were certified, and they were just great in any way. My mom said the food was better at her assisted living than it was at the rehab. Because she wasn't able to walk and go down there, it was cold by the time they would get it to her. She never had a hot meal there. They had activities. They had little programs. They had bingo. They had games they would play sometimes, and they took them outside once. It was a beautiful sunny day, and they took them out. They strolled her out in a wheelchair, and they had cupcakes for them. They have lots of activities. They have a lady that take care of their hair. They can make an appointment and pay her to fix their hair, wash it, and everything. They give them a haircut or a trim. Their main gym area would be over in the rehab building."

"My aunt was recently (a week ago) released from Liberty Hospital to Liberty Terrace. I had heard stories about the lack of care but also that they had recently gone under new management. Whatever it was before it has certainly changed for the better. The place was clean, there were Xmas decorations everywhere, and the staff greeted me all the way down the hall. My aunt is mentally challenged and they were so sweet to her, very patient and even moved her to a room closer to the nurses' station so they could keep an eye on her. The food was good and they offered my family and I complimentary dinners. My aunt's caseworkers were up to date on her case, the nursing staff knew what the doctors had ordered for her and even contacted them to modify her meds on a Sunday when they noticed how agitated she was. This was the best nursing home I've ever experienced. "
