We found Ignite Medical Resort KC Northland. My loved one hasn't been approved for Medicaid, and that's the one that accepted them pre-approved before they got Medicaid. That's the only reason we picked it, really. It is a clean facility, and that's what I like about it. The staff members are very courteous. My loved one really, really likes the food. They give a good selection, which I like for him. I would say his favorite would probably have been biscuits and gravy. He said the food is very good. The ambiance is really nice. It's newer, and they have a little Starbucks in there, which is kind of cool. The layout is really good. I really like the layout, and it's very secure. The doors are locked, so they have to buzz you in and out. When you get there, you have to check in through a machine.

I moved into Ignite Medical Resort for rehab. The care was OK. Some of them were courteous. They were kind. They took care of the patients. It was relaxing, and they were helpful. The amenities were all pleasing. If they had an issue or concern, they went out of their way to make it right. Other than that, they were just fine. They had religious services, hobby days, sing-alongs, and they had bingo. They had different activities. The food was great. The service in the food department was satisfactory. They needed help there. Outside of that, it was OK.

My mom is currently at Ignite Medical Resort Kansas City, LLC. I like that it's new and clean. The employees are nice. They show care and compassion. It is a very nice facility. They have a courtyard, a coffee shop, a hair salon, physical fitness onsite, and therapists.
