I really have enjoyed Avalon View Healthcare and REHAB. I really like the new management. Ashley and Lori are nice. The receptionist are both very cheerful and welcoming. I would recommend for rehab or ltc. The nurse Ashley is nice too on Maple unit. The building is older but I would give a solid B+.

The rooms are small and made smaller because you have to share them with somebody else. Heaven forbid if they’re a night owl cause you’ll never get any sleep because of their TV. Constantly understaffed. And the food I wouldn’t feed to a dog.

This facility truly has the BEST staff! Please know that our family is eternally grateful for all of the staff who continue to care for our family member. The team is warm, loving, and they make sure everything is clean and amazing. We vetted the best we could during COVID and we have no regrets (you’re welcome)!

My mother-in-law was in Ashton Court for four months in 2018 and we couldn't have been happier. The nurses/aides were attentive; often popped in the room to check on her even if family was there. They really strive to be a family-type atmosphere. She left looking and feeling better than she had in years. In January 2020 she entered a brand new facility up the road for rehab, and was so neglected that we were in the process of making arrangements to transfer her back to Ashton Court when she collapsed and eventually passed away. Don't let architectural cosmetics fool you when choosing a facility for your loved one. Newer and bigger is not always better!

STAY AWAY! My grandmother went into the rehab after a hospital stay and declined daily, no one cared or did anything. I went to see her all the time she was running a fever, she had bruising, she wasn't breathing right~I brought it to their attention multiple times! Finally I got admin involved and guess what she had pneumonia and was sent back to the hospital for 2 weeks! Worst decision I ever made.

We chose Ashton Court because of the location, I can see my mother-in-law several times a week. The rehabilitation facility is excellent. The staff is very pleasant. They were very patient, and Mom-in-law has even remarked at how nice the people are to the patients. The rooms are being remodelled. When she first went in, the rooms were very clean. They are two to a room, and I wish the rooms were bigger, though.
