The rooms at St Marys Manor were very small and that's the reason why we did not take my mom there. They had very small bathrooms. It's definitely an older facility and the rooms have not been remodeled. We saw some activities posted in the hallway. They have a small activity room. It needs some overhaul. Their monthly rent is definitely lower than other places. It's for those residents that really are on a very tight budget. The director was a young gal, and she was great, and very knowledgeable. There was a common area between hallways where the nurses' station was. It was very clean and maintained; it was just old and small. We saw the dining area, and it was very small, but they also don't have very many residents. It was more cafeteria-style dining. I was impressed with the director, but as we walked around, we saw some staff with the residents, but they didn't seem to be interacting with them like at the other places. It was adequate and lower-priced, but after we had seen some of the other nicer ones, we knew Mom wouldn't be happy there.

St. Marys Manor was very clean and the residents looked very happy. The place didn't have an odor or smell. It's a Catholic facility, but anybody can go there. They had a very nice dining room and a meal plan. They also had a memory care unit if you needed to go into that later. They have apartments as well. The staff was very kind, seemed considerate, and knowledgeable.

So far, St. Mary's Manor is just ok. Seems to me and my family that lack of training of their CNA's is a major problem. As an example, meds for our Mom are to be crushed and they were not and we found half chewed meds on Mom's clothes, the floor, and wrapped up in a paper towel. CNA's need to read orders and followed through. Some staff are friendly & help[ful, while siome staff acts annoyed if they need to assist a patient. We are keeping on eye on the care they are providing and let the staff know if things are good or bad. Therapists are great!!

St. Mary’s Manor is absolutely wonderful. Everybody was sweet, and it was like a home atmosphere in a larger setting. They have lots of activities during the week; they will take them places that they need to go. My mother is extremely happy there.

I pulled my mom from another care facility after only 24-hours because of lack of attention and not getting her medications (they put her med chart in someone else's file). Upon arrival at St. Mary's Manor, staff welcomed my mom and her intake was very efficient. The assigned nurse came in after the Intake Coordinator and did a very thorough review of her medications, expectations while she was at St. Mary's Manor, and spent time just chatting with my mom to make her feel more comfortable. Mom has enjoyed the physical and occupational therapy and she reports that all her meds have been given to her when they are due and all the nurses have treated her with respect. The facility is a little older but has recently has had a substantial renovation. The rooms are large and clean, and the dining facility is very nice as well. My mom has been very happy. I'd recommend St. Mary's Manor to anyone caring for an elderly family member or friend.
