My father-in-law moved into Villages of Jackson Creek. It was pretty good. The staff members are attentive. All of them that I've talked to were pleasant. The facility is clean. He hasn't had any problems or complaints with the food. He says it's been pretty good.

If your family member is ambulatory and somewhat self-reliant they will likely enjoy the facilities cans activities. Unfortunately my mom was in need of skilled nursing care. She was unable to walk or reposition herself. Staff told me more than once they did not have time to reposition her or change her briefs every 2 hours as required to prevent pressure wounds. She entered Villages of Jackson Creek without wounds. While there she developed a stage 4 pressure wound to her tailbone. We transferred Mom to another facility, but the damage was done. Ultimately her wound led to sepsis and an agonizing death. Villages of Jackson Creek does not have adequate staffing to safely care for non ambulatory patients.

The Villages of Jackson Creek had better staff and better facilities. They offer a higher skilled facility and they're more in tune with Alzheimer's residents that have declined. It's clean, but it's just an older facility.

The Villages of Jackson Creek was closest to my mom, so she was pretty happy with the location of that. I don't have any complaints. It doesn't look like each room has central air. It looks kind of like wall units, and you know it gets really hot here in Missouri. The concern is, would the air have been enough? It was really nice there, though. They have the salon. They have the theater room. They have arts and crafts room. There is probably eight hours a day of activities. They transport to doctor's appointments.

My mom transferred from the hospital to a rehab care facility at Villages of Jackson Creek. They have a spot for my father. We're just trying to get everything ready and figured out, so we can go ahead and get him down there. Then they can eventually be with each other. He is going to move into assisted living for the moment. It seemed excellent. The social workers have been more than willing to reach out to me and let me know everything that was going on. They have helped me labeling mom's clothes. They have helped me in so many ways, and I'm so appreciative to them for that. The administrator was very helpful. She came and interviewed my father. She did an evaluation of him in my sister's home where he's at right now. They have gone out of their way and been very helpful. We're just waiting on a couple of installments from my parents so we can get my father down there. They have a very large assisted living facility, a very large memory care facility, and their rehab facility is about the same size (and it's connected by hallways). The staff was very helpful, very courteous, very polite, and very professional. My mother says the food is excellent; they just give her too much. It looked like an old stately mansion. It was very nice and very clean. They have a chapel, an ice cream shop, a candy store, movie night, and all kinds of little activities for them to do inside.
