My mother has moved into Brookdale Leawood State Line. It's nicely furnished and it's homey, but yet it's been updated and clean. I like all the staff very much. So far, everybody's been friendly and helpful.

The room and staff are great. There are a lot of varied activities for people and I love the flower garden. Staff dispenses medications regularly and on time. Facilities are clean and look nice.

The rooms are nice. I have not eaten the food but .y mother has not complained. The staff is excellent and truly care for the residents. They make sure she attends the various activities and relate to her on a one on one basis. I have seen an improvement in my mother's demeanor.

The staff here seems genuinely caring, and respectful. As I walked through the facility I noticed it was very clean, and the residents were being entertained with an activity. My friend would definitely enjoy being kept busy as she is still mildly high functioning. Top place on my list!

I liked the staff at Brookdale Leawood State Line. They're very, very friendly. They were very person-centric, so they worked very hard on having this service (that's what they told me). I liked how I thought they would to treat my mom. The staff was wonderful. I really liked her. Their facilities were very nice, very clean, and big. I thought the facilities were fine. They had a salon. It was not as close, and that was a big reason why I kind of took it off the list. They also charged extra for things that the other place I went to included.

I've been pleased with Brookdale Leawood State Line so far. The staff and the administration are great. My mother is happy there, and she's making friends. It's a nice place, it's in a nice neighborhood, and it's clean. Her room is just a bedroom with a bathroom. They keep them pretty active, and they take them on field trips. They have a salon, a TV room, and different activity rooms. They have a kitchen area that's not working; it's there just to make them feel like they're in a home. The price is outrageous though.

Brookdale Leawood State Line is a nice place that is generally clean and decorated nicely, but I don’t think the care is great, especially for the Alzheimer's patients. The staff doesn’t know what they are doing. They did not make a point to greet me except for one person, the recreational director, who was very nice and very helpful. The rooms were nice and decently sized enough for a bed and a dresser.

If distance wasn't such a major issue I would have preferred to place mom here. It really upsets me because that was my first choice and we gave them up for distance. I am regretting it and almost wishing I had put her there. I am really regretting that much and I can't move her again, it's so bad for her. Their building is shaped like a donut. I think it was an awesome thing for the people that walk especially in Missouri. They had birds, a dog, and a certain amount of plant life indoors. They seemed more into the residents.
