"Tallgrass Creek Senior Living Community is very modern, up-to-date, very clean, and beautiful. The staff is wonderful, very professional, and very nice. They have a lot of exercises. They probably have 10 different groups every day for physical activity based on whatever your abilities are. They have a Parkinson's group, too, that meets twice a week, and that is really good for my mom. Everything is limited because of COVID, so they don't have everything right now, but they have small group meetings, Bible studies, and church groups."

"I have already moved into Kingswood. The facilities are old, but they've been well kept. The food is very good. It's just not what they provide, you have many choices, and that's good. There are lots of physical activity. The people seem to be very friendly. Because of the friendliness of the residents, I would give it a 5. I haven't participated much in activities because there are so many problems, but I think they'll be just fine. I have been staying here for about a month now."

"We toured Colonial Village. They have all levels of care. It is big, nice and open. It meets all the criteria. The problem is that the dining room is closed in the evening. They don't cook dinners. They cook two meals, breakfast, and lunch. One of the reasons we are getting out of our house is because my wife is incapable of cooking. They met all the criteria except that they don't have meals in the evening, so we were quite disappointed. The rooms are nice and big. They have one- and two-bedrooms. They have one-and-a-half baths and two baths. They have a lot of variety of things. They have all the usual activities, and those rooms were nice and big, too. We went around with the staff, Jill, and she was extremely nice."

"We toured The Fairways of Ironhorse. The place is fabulous. It's nice and clean and it's right on the golf course. We had lunch there, which was good. Their pricing structure was a little different, but it is doable. They have one-bedrooms and two-bedroom-two-baths. They're quite long rooms. They have an underground garage, but they charge you for it for a hundred bucks a month. They have a washer and a dryer in the unit. It's very impressive. However, they don't have assisted living. The staff who assisted us, his name is John, and he was super nice. He invited us to lunch, and we had lunch there. For amenities, they had everything. They had transportation to shopping and to doctor's visits. They also had group activities."

"My mom currently stays here at Aberdeen Village Nursing Home. They have an average of one staffing nurse for each resident. The facilities and amenities were actually excellent. They provide daily living activities and medication management. I have nothing bad to say about their service and staff, but its just that they've raised the price range on my mom's room and its something that we can't afford in the long run. We really love the center but its pretty costly with the new price. "

"My dad is at Bishop Spencer Place and so far everything has been very good. What I liked about this facility is that my dad is in the assisted living and yet we just have to pay a little more money for extra care. My dad is a little bit independent but they make amends for the extra care. "

"Cedar Lake Village has so many activities for people to do and has a much more Christian base to it, which I am looking for. I have not talked to one person who has not been impressed with this place, whether by living there or working there. I have a friend whose dad works there, and he's been there for 17 years. He said the people there are always very nice. The food isn't as good as the other facility I've been to. You can only eat until noon. So, you get all the breakfast that you want and lunch, and then you can pick stuff up to take back to your rooms for evening meals. I didn't like that so much, but it is good because some people don't want a lot to eat in the evenings. The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and very helpful. I ate lunch there and it was OK. I am not picky, and it wasn't anything extravagant. The building was very clean, but it's old-fashioned. The main part of it was not super up-to-date, but for old people who like that kind of thing, it would make them feel very much at home. To me, it doesn't matter. I could go with it or not. Their rooms were not quite as updated, either."
