"I visited Ramsey Village. We looked at long-term care, assisted living, and independent living. A current resident showed me her living arrangement. She walked through what she loved about living there. There were lots of activities. It seemed that a lot of people were out of their rooms interacting with each other. The dining area was very clean. The residents were enjoying the food. The servers were super responsive. It was great."

"I have been impressed with the buildings and grounds of this facility since it was built as it is located near my home and I frequently drive by. I began visiting when friends of my parents moved here from a small community 120 miles away. This couple chose the facility partly because it was near their daughter, but it truly became "home" to them. The caring staff, and ability to make appropriate arrangements within the facility as health issues evolved, were very helpful to the couple and their family. The husband recently died, and the wife is receiving good support as she adjusts to this difficult change. I would highly recommend this facility and consider it for myself one day. "

"We were looking for facilities within a certain radius, and with all the amenities and the price, Edgewater was the best fit. The staff are very positive and encouraging and understanding of the situation. My father is in an Alzheimer's unit, and his room is wonderful -- new carpet, new painting, very clean. The food is very good. They have people playing bingo, crafts, working on the computer, and I've seen concerts; they have people come in playing piano and groups singing. They are quite active. It is a locked facility, and it is very secure; he is not able to wander. "

"The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, encouraging .The apartments are well assigned and the residents are friendly and welcoming. They care about their fellow residents well being. "

"My dad is a resident of Calvin Community for about two years now. He started on the skilled nursing floor and got better and then moved to assisted living. It is a Christian faith-based community which is fun because we are Jewish. My dad is the only Jewish resident, and they could not be nicer. They are wonderful, loving, and supportive. It has a coffee shop on the bottom floor that is staffed by a volunteer and when you go in there and have a cookie and a piece of cake you can't even pay for it; it is free. At Christmas time, it looks like Santa Claus is about to come in; it is magical and beautiful. They have activities all the time. It is a loving and wonderful place and good. He is in a very big single room which is nice. He participates in some of the activities and some of them he does not. The place has a courtyard, flowers, and a yard, too."

"Wesley Acres provides different levels of care, from independent apartments for seniors, to assisted living, rehabilitation, or long term health care. The assisted living lets seniors decide how much help they personally need, and staff are there to help them with everything from housekeeping to bathing. There is a great cafe in the facility, and there is an option to be on a meal plan, where you can either go to the cafe or have meals served to your room. The food is great (especially the salads!) and very reasonably priced. The staff at Wesley Acres are great, and plan outings from nights out to see musicals to week-long trips across Europe. There are always plenty of activites at Wesley Acres, from lectures, to exercise programs, movies, and more. My grandma has been living there for seven years now, and plans to spend the rest of her life there. There is a hospital just across the street, and she can change how much care she wants provided from the staff. There is a nice community feel to Wesley Acres, and the residents enjoy the opportunities to visit with their friends just down the hall. It is also a nice place to visit for friends and family of residents, whether to meet up in the cafe for a nice lunch or in the big common room right inside the entrance. "
