My wife is at The Village at Mission Memory Care. Everything is excellent there so far. The services seem to be OK. They're friendly, helpful, and seem to care. They do a good job. She's only been there three weeks, so I'm not familiar with everything, but one day I was there, and they had two ladies come in who played violins. Last Saturday, they had a block party. They had a bounce house for little kids, and they had face painting and fake tattoos for kids. They had hot dogs, music, hamburgers, and cold drinks, and it was quite a turnout because we had our grandkids. It was quite an event. It was really nice. The dining area is nice. It's the one I picked, and I went to a lot of facilities, anywhere from six to eight. I see lots of different activities and people coming in. Value for money is good.

My wife is at The Village at Mission. I think they have good people there. It's just their attention is limited (my wife had two issues there), but their attention was good. The food is also good. It's kind of bland in a way, but generally, it's OK. They can get her in a wheelchair and take her to breakfast. The facility is clean. The people are OK. They had different room options. They even have a few with two bedrooms. They only have one nurse (the one who evaluates my wife and evaluates different people) and she is just one out of several hundred people they have. So, it is a pretty busy operation for one person. They could take my wife to the doctor if she has an appointment or needs to see a doctor. They are friendly, and nice, and they react to issues. They have a lot of activities going on like getting together and people playing music in the evenings. It's expensive.

My wife will be moving into The Village at Mission. We chose it, because of the facility's capabilities, the people, the overall appearance, and the feeling that it's well managed. The people we met were all very friendly and helpful. Their dining area was very spacious. They have everything that she will need such as a physical therapist to work with her.

I visited The Village at Mission. They have rehab so all of their care workers are more highly trained, and they do two-person assistance if it's needed. It's very clean, very bright, and welcoming. In the room, someone had just moved out, so they needed to refresh the paint, but it was in a sunny location. It looked out on a beautiful garden area, it's just one room and typical for memory care. The staff who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable. They provided a lot of third-party assistance like movers and people that can help me be successful in the transfer of my mom over to the new facility, so it's less stressful for me. The dining area looked very cheery, but I was there at a time when there was no activity. There was a man there that was singing beautifully and everybody was enjoying his singing in the memory care. They have an outdoor space right off the area where the TV is, and it looks like they're as happy as they could be in that situation.

Had a relative in the Rehab section for PT/OT services. PT was defined as walking to the dining room. Very understaffed. Medication mistakes daily. No follow-up with primary care doctor. I timed one of the call lights being answered - 1 hour, 20 minutes. When staff was needed, they were usually in the room behind the main desk area doing nothing. Staff turnover and agency help was daily issue. The relative's first roommate left because the treatment was so bad.

The Village was a front runner for our family. The placement did not occur but we were impressed with the admissions process. Valerie was very helpful and informative to help our family understand Eldercare and our options. The Village at Mission offers so many options to streamline the care your family member needs. We were there at mealtime and noticed that the residents seemed content and were interacting. The dining room and common areas are attractive and welcoming. The new ownership is working on remodeling to modernize the facility even more. We saw a couple of rooms. Both were well apportioned and had nice window views.

My mom was here. It was good, nice, and clean. It was in a good location too. The staff members were all very friendly. The food was fine, but my mother thought it was salty. Her room was at the end of the hallway. It was quiet and very clean. She had her own bathroom, which was perfect. The only negative comment was that the evening staff could be loud. They would be out laughing and telling jokes and carrying on. There was no consideration for the residents. Overall, the people were very sweet, and very considerate. My mom wasn't the easiest patient, so I thought they did a fine job with her.

I am the guardian of an elder woman and first had her at the Atrium's. Nice place, but as she needed a higher level of care I moved her here about 6 months ago. Great staff. Very good care. Lots of activities to keep them going. Lots of live music. No place is perfect but this place is the closest I have found. Stay engaged with your loved one and the staff for the best result at any place.

During my visit, I was very impressed with them. They had a lot of caring people working there. The residents seemed very happy too. One thing I like is that they allow dogs inside. They had a good activities director as well. The rooms and apartments were very comfortable. They looked very homey too, and did not seem like institutional. The residents had their own furniture in there. I haven't eaten there but the dining room was in good size and very pleasant. I didn't see anything about the place that wasn't stellar.

We moved my parents here. I like the location. The staff is very nice. So far, I would recommend this community to others. Their rooms are small but nice.

It was great. The staff member that we met -- Karen -- made everybody feel comfortable. It was nice walking around the facility with her; she called many of the residents by their names and she did have a good relationship with them. She was able to answer all of our questions. They also gave us a calendar of events.
