My brother moved into Angel Assisted Living, LLC - Waldorf. So far, it's OK. We moved in with no problem, and they greeted him. I've been out there to visit him several times. He's clean, he's dressed, he's eaten, and he's been shaved. The dining area is fine, and I saw their menu. They're very staffed. Someone's in the kitchen and washing clothes, and a couple of them are in the room with them. They are friendly. They are fine with me, and my brother responds to them. I don't smell poo-poo and urine when I walk in there, and that's important to me because I was smelling stuff in a couple of places I went. He shares a room. They have a doctor who comes once a month, someone can clip his toenails, and I'm working with them to order medicine for him.

I toured Angel Assisted Living, LLC - Waldorf. It was clean, but I didn't like how the house was chopped up. There are a lot of rooms. They had some residents upstairs and some downstairs. I felt that it wouldn't be adequate supervision-wise, and they had quite a few residents. They had stairs. If it's assisted living, a place with stairs is not good. It is ideal for someone who's mobile and doesn't need a lot of supervision. The outside looked good, and the inside looked clean, but it was cookie-cutter in different rooms. There was one wide open section, like the living room, and then the same thing upstairs, but then everything else was just topped up. They served three meals.

I visited Angel Assisted Living, LLC - Waldorf. It's a house setting, and I was not impressed because they got too many people in there at the time. They have ten people that they can take up to at a time. It's two-stories, so it's got very small bedrooms with two people in a room. They're very well-made and clean, but there's just not enough room; it was narrow. The person who gave the tour was very nice to me. You'd have to be very careful going up and down the wooden stairs because they're steep. They have a little chairlift that takes the elderly up and down the stairs though. But personally, it's just not the right place for my mom. I asked what they do for activities, and I was told that they watch TV in the living room and play cards. The other place actually had an activities room, but this one did not. I also checked their dining area, which was very small.
