I am at peace knowing that my aunt is getting the proper care she needs especially during this pandemic. Thanks to the family environment at Prince of Peace, my Aunt Daisy is at peace also. Trust me she has turned up at previous facilities with her dementia!! My family was also given access to Zoom in order to communicate with her during this pandemic. God bless you all!!!

I toured Prince of Peace I. We saw the arrangements of the housing, the setting, and the rooms were small. The home setting is nice for the care, but we weren't interested in that type of setting. When we went, they had one room available, and I don't know if it was a four-bedroom house or a basement. We didn't tour anything, except the area where the beds were, and the kitchen area. The price is too expensive. They gave us a menu, and also the activity schedule.

The Prince of Peace I was a very big property. and it was spacious downstairs. The rooms are very tiny and I did not like them as much as the place I went to. The location was nice, and the lady was nice but the feels and the vibe is different. I would not take my aunt there. The staff were not engaging with the residents. The residents that were sitting, were just sitting by themselves, they weren't with them and they were just talking with each other. It wasn't dirty. It just wasn't to my standard. It wasn't in a bad location.

I was able to see Prince of Peace I. They didn't have many amenities as far as common areas, it was just one little small TV. Although they have TVs in their rooms, it would be good for them to get out of their rooms and be in a common area with other residents. But there's not enough space for that. The staff members and employees were very welcoming, they went over a lot of things and asked a lot of questions about my grandmother, and they spoke about their specialties or their focus. They kind of specialize in dementia, so that was nice to hear. Whenever I call, they answered and were happy to answer any questions I had. They had a van that they use when they need to take the residents to places and stuff like that. But that's the only amenity that I remember them mentioning. They have physical therapy that comes to the house, but I didn't like that they didn't have nurses or a nurse onsite 24 hours.

Prince of Peace I was OK, but it wasn't exactly the type of setting that we were looking for. I didn't see many amenities or activities. The owner has a room for five, but she has four right now. It's an assisted living care home. The one she showed us was a shared room but nobody's in that room now, so it will only be my mother. The size is OK. It was not to our liking, but it was well kept. I only met the owner. Her husband was there and there was a care person there for the weekend. The owner gave a lot of information about what she does and how she operates. She was good. I just wasn't too comfortable with the layout.

I liked Prince of Peace I. It was a very nice community. The people were very nice and everything was well kept. They were very pleasant and very informative. The room I saw was just an average room, nothing special about it. They had beds in it for the residents, but there was also an outdoor porch, and everybody was watching TV when I was there.
