Beulah Spring Assisted Living LLC was beautiful. The home was very spacious. It's huge. It had stairlifts going upstairs and stairlifts going down into the basement. The owner was extremely nice. I think the only reason why we didn't go with her was because the other place was closer to my grandfather. It was very clean and nice. It's absolutely amazing, the artwork, the furniture and the TV, the whole setup. The way she has her house laid out, you would think that she had an interior decorator come in and set this whole thing up. The rooms were big. All of the private rooms had queen-sized beds. The bed was a little bigger than a twin bed in the semi-private room. The dining area was nice. She has two kitchens in this house. She has one upstairs and one downstairs. This house is maybe one level down from being a mansion. She turned it into an assisted living. The bedrooms are huge. The living room is big. There are three couches in the living area. The kitchen upstairs or the main floor is big and has a big dining room table. Then she has a kitchen downstairs. They have a front yard and a backyard. They can sit out on the deck. There's plenty of room for family to come and visit and be able to sit and that's upstairs and downstairs. You can have three or four family members visit at the same time and just be in the room or the common areas.

Beulah Spring Assisted Living LLC had a very homey atmosphere and I felt like I would be leaving my mother in a home environment. It was clean and colorful. I liked that the place was small, so she could have individual-type care. I didn't see any extra thrill about the place and it was priced a little higher than what I had anticipated. I only met with the owner, and I thought that the information she provided was wonderful. She was very open in explaining everything. I saw 2 residents and they were engaged in some type of game at a table. And then they did have 2 other nurse assistants right there with them. I did like the open areas that they had for families to come visit.

We had a good experience visiting Beulah Spring Assisted Living LLC. The lady was nice on the tour and explained everything in detail. I just didn't think it'd be a good fit for my grandmother. It was someone's home that they'd converted into an assisted living and they kind of expanding/doing something in the basement. I wasn't too impressed with that.
