It was an old hospital, so it was very big. The therapeutic area was good, and they had a lot of good equipment. "

The physical therapists were the reason my aunt was able to walk again, after having been hospitalized for months with blood clots."

Carroll Manor is a popular place"”a lot of people like the easy transition to a caring facility from the hospital. So one possible drawback may be that no beds are available when needed. "My brother is in Forestville Healthcare Center. I have mixed reviews about them. I feel like it could be better aesthetically, first of all, and just a little more attentive to the patients. There's nothing lively about the room. There are no pictures. We bring pictures of the family, but the walls are just dull. There's nothing to stimulate the senses. They have a community room. They had a room that family could go and gather and celebrate my brother's birthday, and that was nice."

"My husband is staying in Sligo Creek Center. He has been there since June 18th. In terms of location, it takes me almost an hour to get to him there. He also said that he has a little problem with them. He said they hadn't given him a bath. He weighs about 230 and they said that they didn't have a chair for the shower for him. He was supposed to get a shower at least twice a week. So he was upset about that. He is sharing a room with another patient and he doesn't like that. He likes to be by himself. They do keep his room clean though. They also have a calendar of activities but he doesn't participate in any of them. With regard to the staff, he said that some of the staff did not want to tend to him. He said the food is good but sometimes he said he doesn't like it. In general, I don't think the food there is that bad. "

"I'm very happy at Althea Woodland. My handicap is too extensive for assisted living, so I would need the skilled nursing facility that will take care of me. The staff is excellent, very attentive to my needs, and they don't get upset about anything. It's a nice facility. It's small, 50 beds, but it's wonderful, and this was the best move I could've made. The food is excellent. Right now, I'm in quarantine, so I'm not really familiar with what they do, but their activities department seems pretty busy. They've been by to see me and talk to me about activities."

"I am currently at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Cherry Lane for rehabilitation. It's been really good and I have very few issues. They're very intuitive and professional. So, everything's working out OK. The food is pretty good, especially lunch and dinner. They have different activities here. They play trivia games, they have music therapy, and they do a thing about current events. They have transportation to doctors' appointments. All the different members of the staff have come to check on me to see how I'm doing. The management is constantly trying to make sure that everything is going OK for me, and I like that."
