My mom moved to the Future Care Capital Region. Most of the staff is great, but there are a couple of staff we've had some issues with. I feel the facility is great, top-notch, clean, and everything. It's state-of-the-art rehab stuff in there and very spacious. It's a newer facility. I think it's only 5 or 6 years old. The food looks good. I think it should be a little bit more nutritious. My mom's not able to engage in a lot of them, but I've seen the activities and the list of things they have. They have movies and games. For value, if I had to pay that out of pocket, I'd probably be a little bit disappointed. My mom's working with an occupational therapist, physical therapist, and speech therapist and they're all awesome. They're also great and the nurses are great.

My mom is currently in rehab at FutureCare Capital Region. They were good, but they didn't address it when I tried to put in for an appeal, because I'm not prepared to take care of her. So, we do have to get a health aide. I believe they didn't address her dementia, so when she said she didn't want to do therapy, they didn't allow her to do therapy. They seem pretty, I like them, but they dropped it in that appeal. They didn't have that she has dementia. I really believe that they take good care of her. They do good; I have no complaints about them. I think they do an outstanding job, and they addressed her needs. The staff members are hardworking, knowledgeable. Any time I ask them questions, they always answer. They had shut it down, so I haven't been able to go there. If my mom would say her stomach hurts or something, and I'd tell them, they'd call a doctor right away. Always around the clock, they are there. My mother likes the food. The facility is always clean. They always take temperatures, and make sure you clean your hands before you go in there. They have a big therapy center that has the bikes and all that. They have a big room for therapy. They said downstairs is the nursing home. They have vending machines and stuff like that downstairs. When you first walk in, and you go around on one side, her room is right there. The room is nice, it has a huge bathroom. She is the only one in her room, but it's clean. They really do a good job, because my mother is not the easiest person to take care of.

The facility was very impressive. Food was terrible. Nurses were lazy put everything on GNA’s. Doctors didn’t do much. Example, the hospital sent instructions that I was to receive laxatives until my biles normalized but they didn’t give me and my biles impacted and they told me they could help me so I had to dig the bile out myself. The only staff the was good was physical therapy and the gym was very good. If I was to sick to talk for myself I’m not sure what my outcome would have been. The rooms were nice with a bath and closet. Activities were limited when I was there

I'm in Future Care Capital Region, and I would not recommend it to anybody. The food was awful. If you need help and ring the bell, they take forever. Just like this morning, they gave me a hot cup of Prune juice. It was so hot so I pushed the button, but took them about 20 minutes to come. There's nobody here to help you if you have a problem. I asked to see a doctor, but there's no doctor. The building or buildings look really nice.
