"Holy Hills Assisted Living was well organized, efficient, and very professional. They had activities, but I didn't see any going on at the time that I was there. They had three bedrooms, and they were nice. I didn't see many amenities. I guess you could play cards in one of their rooms, but no one was playing any games. The dining area was nice. They keep the place clean. If you were a senior, you didn't have to worry about steps. They just thought through their approach to accommodating assisted living residents. The lighting was great, and it was a great community."

"We moved my mother to Russell Residence which is a highly recommended place. The nursing staff is very professional and caring, and the ratio of nurses to a patient is higher than most facilities being 1:4 or higher. They customize the care for the patients' needs like if the patient needs to be turned in every 30 minutes they do that. You don't see that in a lot of the facilities. It's very clean, very much updated, and the rooms almost look like the residents are in a home and not a hospital environment. There are pictures and flowers so the residents feel more at home than at a facility while providing a high level of care. I like the way they prepare the meals; I saw how the food was given to my mother and I got the chance to feed her. She needs a special diet and they did very well in terms of that."

"Angel assisted living was very nice. They had very nice, comfortable rooms and my son had a room by himself. They had a nice dining room with three meals a day. They had activities for the residents and had a well-balanced program. "

"We toured Access Care Assisted Living. It was small and well-run, and we liked the house it was in. It's very close to where we live. The rooms were very nice and spacious. My mom will be in a private room, which is very nice. They've got an activities room and we like that a lot, so she has something to do. We saw them in the room where they were watching T.V. and playing puzzles. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and nice. We think Mom's going to be very happy."

"My daughter's dad moved into AB Residence Assisted Living. His room is perfect because he was able to take his chair when he was sitting there every day. He had that big chair with the remote that could lift you up and put you down, which sat in his room along with the furniture they had in there. So, he's happy. It was nice and clean. It didn't have any odor, and the outside was nice and clean. It had a ramp for him because he's in a wheelchair, so he can go to dialysis. It was nice and safe. He said the food is good because when he was at my daughter's house he kept having us order him food out. So, he hasn't been ordering any food. He's been eating his food. He said it's cooked really good. The staff is good because they get him to shower every day. We couldn't get him to clean himself. So, when he was with us at home, he would not wash. So, since he's been here, they've been getting him in the shower, and he's been showering every day. He's nice and clean. He doesn't participate in activities, but they have a family room where activities take place. I thought it was a good value because everywhere else I went we couldn't afford it."

"My dad is currently in New Horizon Assisted Living LLC. It has an open space, and there's more room for the residents to walk around. It's a small community, and it is clean. The staff there doesn't tell me too much. The place is clean and everything is spaced out. It has wooden floors, and it's easier for them to move around. They have a dining area and a little courtyard where the residents can go out and sit."

"I saw New Horizon Assisted Living in Overbrook Lane. Most of the people were sharing a room; they have no private rooms. The staff was very friendly, they were there all the time, they lived on the premises. The amenities are kind of limited. It was very clean. It's not far from restaurants and hospitals."

"My sister stayed at Caring Hearts & Hands ALF for respite. She enjoyed being there and she was comfortable. We only met the lady that runs and owns the place. We saw one of the meals that she was preparing and it looked very appetizing. My sister said she ate very well while she was there. When I picked her up, she was in good shape. She was happy there."
