I saw New Horizon Assisted Living in Overbrook Lane. Most of the people were sharing a room; they have no private rooms. The staff was very friendly, they were there all the time, they lived on the premises. The amenities are kind of limited. It was very clean. It's not far from restaurants and hospitals.

I have recently found a place for myself in New Horizon Assisted Living in Bowie. I have moved to their assisted living. It's not a community but a regular house with several bedrooms and a maximum of 8 residents. It's generally clean, and the rules seem fair and equitable. The staff seems to be helpful. They serve three meals a day, they do your laundry, and they have aides that help clean the bedrooms. Their food is adequate. There are no activities that I know about right now since I haven't been here that long. Of the available assisted living places, it seems to be one of the more reasonable.
