"I like The Belnor Senior Residences very much. I like the amenities, the property highlights, and even the units. The kitchen was open and spacious. I like the floor plan, but they don't have enough closet space. The other features as far as the property is concerned, the laundry space and the fact that they have a community garden and greenhouse, I liked everything about it, even the reserved parking for the residents to make sure that we have enough parking. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The tour was very thorough. My questions were answered because there were just two features that I was interested in: the kitchen and the closets. You have to prepare your own meals."

"The rooms are very spacious! I am looking for a 1 bedroom for just myself. I don’t want a lot of space, but rooms are great sizes. The area has almost everything you need shopping, dinning, church, entertainment, home improvement supplies,metro and parking. At the time I visited the building was quiet, I’m sure there are times when it’s not. But I live inside my apartment. That doesn’t bother me. I like the apartment. I’m still looking but this may be it!!! Take the tour!!!"

"I went to look at The Hamlet at Queenstown. The facility was well-run. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and accommodating. The amenities and the facilities were very nice. If my mom only needed assisted living, it's a nice place. The kitchen was very clean. Nobody was expecting me to come, but the facility was extremely clean."

"I went to Victory Crossing in Silver Spring and spoke with the manager. They said you have to have a specific income that I don't have. I was able to tour their independent living community, and I like it. They were very nice and new. I think they built it in 2017. The staff was also very nice. They really want to give the spot to me, so it's not their fault. They also showed me the apartment and explained how everything works."

"I went to House of Lebanon, and I spoke with the property manager who gave me a tour. They were still working on the unit that I looked at. She gave me the application and everything to fill out. There were two more in the building that they were working on. She said they would be available for showing like mid-September, because I told her that I wanted to see those as well before making a final decision. They had very nice, big, very spacious rooms. They had new cabinets and new appliances. The lady was very nice. I highly recommend her. It was very warm and very inviting. I felt really at home when I went there. I said I could really see myself here, so I really pray that it goes well, because I really like it. The apartments have everything in there. You have a full kitchen and a dishwasher. They have washers and dryers. They have a multi-purpose room you could use for entertaining or something, which is real big. They have parking and a patio area to sit out, like a little atrium. There's a lot of things about it I like. It's not very decorative. It's an old school they renovated, but it's clean."

"I toured Golden Rule Plaza. It's located downtown, and I didn't want to be in that area. It has a normal-sized room, and the grounds were OK, but there wasn't a lot of room. The staff was OK. I didn't have any issues. They were very courteous. The dining area was of a normal size. More than anything else, I wasn't satisfied with the location."

"This place is by far the best in Anna Arundel County. Around the clock care, a knowledgeable owner, and great meals. My aunts did respite care here and we ended up keeping her here. The owner and his staff went above and beyond to care for her until she passed. My family and I will be forever grateful for the care my aunt received. My aunt was bed bound ; the team frequently made sure she was turned and had creams applied. Her label drastically improved and she did well up until her passing, which she did at-home hospice care there. Thank you so much Utopia and Mr. Williams"

"I toured The Sanctuary, a Mount Jezreel Senior Housing Community, and I like it. It is really good. It is nice and large. I like the floors, the bathroom, and the shower. I like everything. They put a new microwave in there. They have a lot of outdoor space. There is a huge parking lot that goes all the way around the building. It's got a lot of wood and stuff. It's really, really nice around there. I had an interview with them, and I paid the $35 application fee, and I was supposed to be getting a call back from them. It is like a private apartment, and so I guess you buy your own groceries and cook your own food. However, I'm pretty sure if you need some food that they will look out for you. The staff member who gave the tour was very respectful and very thorough with what he showed me."

"The thing I like about Wilshire Estates Gracious Retirement Living is that they seem to have a lot of activities. They have three meals a day, so they have a refrigerator. I don't think they have an oven or a stove top because you're not supposed to be cooking, and you're supposed to go down to the dining room. The staff who gave the tour was very good. The building is pretty new. They can sign up for a shuttle bus to go to the local pool, for example."

"I have lived at Chevy Chase House (CCH) for about seven years and I could not be happier! I feel very fortunate to be here. The staff is outstanding. Many employees have been here for about 15 years or more and are very dedicated to the support and well-being of the Residents. They are always courteous, helpful, and good-willed! Many I consider friends now. I arrived here needing some medical help, but after I while I became completely independent and now enjoy a life where I can go out for lunch up Conn. Ave. or down to Politics & Prose Bookstore. I always return to a safe and secure environment here -- which is very reassuring. I have a wonderful apartment with plenty of windows overlooking Conn. Ave. (Thanks to triple-pane windows, it is very quiet here in the apartment.) And I know that, unlike in some other facilities, I will never have to leave my apartment if someday I take a turn for the "worse" (whatever that may be!). The assistance will come to me as I remain in my apartment. All Good! The food here is very good. We have an excellent Executive Chef who always makes it a point to serve very tasty and interesting food that somehow is also very healthy. (I like to say that we eat healthy in spite of ourselves.). Like the rest of the staff, the Dining Room staff is always friendly and welcoming so that we all look forward to our three meals a day in the Dining Room! (Once the Dining Room opens at 8:30 a.m., it is open all day. If Residents come late to a meal for whatever reason, there is always someone in the Dining Room to help them. The Managers are also friendly, available, and kind. Several hold meetings with Residents once a month to be sure that we are all "on the same page" about various matters. We have a Resident Council meeting once a month that is open to all Residents. We invite managers to our meetings to make announcements about planned trips, other events, and changes coming to the facility. If a Resident may have an issue, s/he is welcome to bring it up at the meeting and we try to resolve it at the meeting. Overall, we strive to have a harmonious community that allows Residents, Staff, and Managers to flourish together! The facility itself is warm and inviting and has the space to accommodate all the many activities which take place here each day -- and there is a fine gym here also!! As I noted above, I feel very fortunate to be here --- and I hope that this note helps explain why!"

"I toured Modena Reserve at Kensington. It was beautiful. It was open and light. I liked the restaurant set up for the dining. It was very pleasant. They had a lot of activities, and the rooms were nice. Everything was great. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant, and very helpful. They had a lot of lectures.
