"Everything at Crescent Ridge Adult Day Care looked great. They showed us the dining room and where the activities were held. I met the director who explained how everything would work, like the transportation. The place was clean and modern. They had field trips, arts and crafts, card games, and board games. "

"My aunt is at Winter Growth. It's beautiful. It's pretty much memory care units and also an assisted living unit. So it's two in one. They're separate in terms of workers and in terms of how they operate. They're all single rooms. No shared rooms. The staff is pretty much good. The food is good. They have physical, occupational, and respiratory therapy, all of that, at least five days per week onsite. They have activities on site. It's a wonderful place. The staff is great. They're awesome. They're wonderful staff. They have three prepared meals per day. They have a chef onsite seven days per week. The structure of the building is wonderful. It has more than enough room for all the clients to roam on the memory side. It has a courtyard that you can go outside, go into the garden, and pick whatever they want to pick and come back inside. You don't have to supervise them because it is a courtyard, which means that you can't leave the premises. They're just in between two buildings. They provided a garden there and they can go to the garden whenever they like. The doors are always open for them to go out, there are benches out, they can just sit there and relax and come back when they're ready. It has a lot of social areas where they can sit with each other or they can go by themselves. So it's great."

"Jewish Council seemed like a nice enough place. The staff was very friendly. The few people that we did see seemed happy. The place was definitely clean. "

"I visited Winter Growth. There are about 15 small bedrooms, decorated by the resident, for assisted living residents. The individual bathrooms are shared - access is from the hall, except there is one pair of bathrooms near the entrance that can accommodate several people at a time. They have a big adult day program - about 40 - 50 people, split into two groups in the morning and smaller groups in the afternoon, participate. They also offer short or long-term respite care. Before admission to any program, a doctor's form must be filled out + a TB test (or chest x-ray), and the person who will participate must come for a preview day. The staff I have talked with are informative, helpful and caring. "

"We chose to have my mother in Caritas House Assisted Living because she is a devout Catholic and they have all the services and support that she wants and needs. The staff is friendly, accommodating, informed, helpful, and thorough. She has a 320-square-foot room on a corner with two big windows, high ceilings, and a large bathroom. It's very nice. The food is fine. There's a variety offered every day and it's good. They also have snacks available pretty much throughout the day whenever she wants them. There are classes, programs, gatherings, and social events every day of the week except for the weekend. There is a virtual mass offered every day, as well as an in-person mass offered on Sundays. There's a large garden terrace area, large common areas with game tables, small libraries on each floor, and large televisions on each floor."

"Adult A Plus seemed nice enough, but they all spoke Chinese. The place was definitely clean. "

"I was worked w/them through an agency. Over all the care is wonderful , inter-generation environment , they have different activities & recreation for the patients. How ever they had visitors in the NEW building on Windsor blvd , & they knew they was coming and they would be strapped for help , they called the agency & said they had an available shift open for Tuesday & Thursday 9-4:30 , iWent there & Lynette told me she had visitors and that they would be leaving at 12pm. I was working my but off until irealized the visitors was gone & Lynette came over to me and told that I can go home & when I looked at the time & it was only 12:30pm , so they used the agency to cover up the fact that they don't have enough help for all of those people , & used me just for 3.5 hours when they told the agency it was a minimum of 4 hours at least. So from what I've seen they are strapped for help and do a lot of covering up . the care is great but the way the handle business is not appropriate "

"My father was at leewood day care center about a year ago. He had gotten sick to where I felt he needed to be watch 24/7 and I was not longer able to stay home with him. To be honest I didn't feel right placing him into a home full time but I did need someone to watch him during the day. Leewood was close and to my job so it was easy to drop him off and pick him up day to day. He was able to interact with other people his age and from what I seen it they had some nice games for the older folks to play. He seemed to enjoy it, of course he'll rather I be with him but being that I had to work he understood. I would recommed leewood, the staff is friendly and communicated well if I had any question's or concerns. "
