"The caregiver from Right at Home comes in three times a week. She's very friendly and she does exercises with my aunt. We chose them because they were a match. They were also willing to work with me because I don't need someone to cook or wash the clothes. I just mainly need assistance with bathing and changing her, getting her up, and lifting her into her chair. It's a very good quality and they're always on time."

"These folks are trustworthy, competent and caring. Since I am working my way back to independence, I really appreciate that they let me do what I can, and then step up when I need help, always supporting and encouraging me as I learn to walk again. The agency has bent over backwards to provide me with the kind of aide that I need. Aides arrive on time and leave on time. They go with me to all my PT and appointments and keep me safe. "

"My mother lives in an assisted living facility but needed more one on one care than they could provide. We were recommended to Home Instead and have been very pleased. The care providers are so pleasant, really get to know Mom and treat her in a respectful and caring manner. Most of the time there has been consistency in which staff are assigned, so that Mom has had a chance to get comfortable with them. The office staff has been great - responsive to changes in service needs so, when for example, we needed to add nighttime coverage they were able to arrange it the same day. I would definitely recommend them highly. "

"I can’t say enough about the care that Safe Hands provided for my Dad in the last year of his life. Previously, we had a very large agency where we felt more like a number — that our concerns weren’t heard and that there wasn’t much thought given to aide assignments. Our experience with Safe Hands was the complete opposite. From day one, they took great care to match my parents with a compatible aide who was an amazing caregiver. Safe Hands was highly responsive to any concerns we had. Their caregivers are very responsible and personable. The leadership team is incredibly responsive. I highly recommend Safe Hands to anyone seeking caring, individualized home health services."

Handled correctly, however, this process can bring a family together and ensure that everyone’s concerns are addressed. Use this PDF as a starting point to help the conversation stay as positive and productive as possible.
