The regular caregiver we have treats our parents wonderfully and takes good care of them. The only problem I have had is if someone can't come, they don't always replace the person.

I have never been disappointed. It has been a wonderful experience. I like that it is very smooth running, the organization is good, the care is great, and they have good operations personnel who can coordinate anything smoothly.

When she was in the hospital, she came to the hospital to visit with her. She drove me to see her, since I can't drive, and she is like family. I like the caregiver we have at the present moment. I like that the person in charge of scheduling is on top of things when we need to make changes. They are diligent to get what we want.

Mita is the person I am using now, and she is just extremely helpful. I am happy. I liked Ruthanne. She came and first introduced me to the company, and was very helpful. In fact, she was concerned about my husband's breathing and suggested I take him to the hospital, and it turned it he had bronchitis.

The girl that comes here is very conscientious. She makes sure I have someone to help me when I am sick. They're not in my area, so they've had trouble covering me. When they're here, the care has been really good, though.

It is not the caregiver, it is just the fact that she cannot live on her own. I like that they have a different caregiver to choose from and they are flexible with their scheduling.

I have medical issues and am in my 70's, and I can not drive. There is a caregiver that I rely on, and it has made a difference. You become at ease when you are able to depend on someone and function normally. I like that it was an easy process to get started.

I'm able to sleep overnight because I'm able to trust the care they provide. I only need to provide care during the day, so they have a great impact. I think it's quite expensive, but the services have been great. The young women who have taken care of my mother overnight have been very kind, attentive, and they do a good job keeping her safe.

Their communication is very poor. We have had expectations for aides to come on the schedule and then sometimes no one shows up. We will call them and ask what is going on and they will scramble to find someone to cover because the nurse never told anyone that they would be taking off for the day. It helps us when they are here, but every time we get a new aide I wind up having to stay here to train them on how we want things to be done.

These folks are trustworthy, competent and caring. Since I am working my way back to independence, I really appreciate that they let me do what I can, and then step up when I need help, always supporting and encouraging me as I learn to walk again. The agency has bent over backwards to provide me with the kind of aide that I need. Aides arrive on time and leave on time. They go with me to all my PT and appointments and keep me safe.

Different assistant companies have different strengths. Home Care Assistance offers different things than others and provides multiple people for me. They also think of what to do on their own; some days I have an idea of what we are going to do, and there are some days were they take over and guide me. They even took me to get my computer fixed. They are good social contact while recovering during surgery. I'm an only child so it's nice to not feel so alone. It's nice to have someone to talk to and see. Home Care Assistance has made my life easier. I don't have to do the dishes anymore, and they handle a lot of the little things. They help me with cleaning and even clean the cat water bowls. It's kind of nice that they remember what to do to help me, and don't feel weird about asking them to do something.
