My daughter's dad moved into AB Residence Assisted Living. His room is perfect because he was able to take his chair when he was sitting there every day. He had that big chair with the remote that could lift you up and put you down, which sat in his room along with the furniture they had in there. So, he's happy. It was nice and clean. It didn't have any odor, and the outside was nice and clean. It had a ramp for him because he's in a wheelchair, so he can go to dialysis. It was nice and safe. He said the food is good because when he was at my daughter's house he kept having us order him food out. So, he hasn't been ordering any food. He's been eating his food. He said it's cooked really good. The staff is good because they get him to shower every day. We couldn't get him to clean himself. So, when he was with us at home, he would not wash. So, since he's been here, they've been getting him in the shower, and he's been showering every day. He's nice and clean. He doesn't participate in activities, but they have a family room where activities take place. I thought it was a good value because everywhere else I went we couldn't afford it.
