This facility is terrible. If you love someone, don't send them here. They don't answer when my parent needs assistance, they don't have clean sheets and just let him lay on a bare hospital bed, and they don't provide daily therapy. It's impossible for him to get better because they don't do anything. They have hung up on me multiple times and will not provide any information when I call. If I could give zero stars I would.

They physically harmed me and they took away my cellphone so I couldn't get help. Forced me to be bedridden by not providing a wheelchair, walker, or bedside commodity. When my daughter had offered to supply me with those medical devices they denied her access. I wasn't allowed to leave my room.

Oakview will not be a place to send a sick relatives they have poor communication skills as well as caring for a family member items going missing and you will always have to do pop ups to see if your family member is being taken care of probably they don’t change your family member as they should I have caught my family member wet numerous of times and I complain about it as well they fix the issue for about a month just to see if you are going to be popping up and then they go back to neglecting them

They are not thorough. Communication is not used to ensure services are properly bring provided. The nutritionist, Sarah, is very dismissive and rude. She blatantly hung up on me and when I brought it to her attention that she dismissed me or the hang up she didn't attempt to apologize but to dismiss me again and hung up the line. Management claims she is great, however, she is anything but and I guess they refuse to retrain or coach her. My mother does PD (peritoneal dialysis). They do not fully know how to give the services. I checked her site the other day and she has been bandaged incorrectly to allow her site to be open. Some of the staff is rude. I walk in on the 2nd floor and say hello but the person clearly looked me in the face and didn't speak but shortly thereafter called someone for assistance so I know she could speak. I'm always told to call back and give a message to someone else to make sure my mother receives care. The elevators are very slow and the facility is due for major updates. Very much out dated.

The experience we had here, albeit briefly, scarred my mother and I for life. We tried to go here sight unseen from a long hospital stay for rehab. The admissions coordinator was very nice and respectful and answered all of our questions. Unfortunately, the facility did not equal what we were told. First, we arrived at about 6:30 PM to be admitted because we were coming from a long distance. No one was there to greet us to show us around the facility or make us feel at home. After we were told to go directly to her room by the front desk person, a resident, about twice my mom's size, told her that she liked my mom's coat, that she wanted that coat and she was going to take that coat. We were then followed into the elevator by another resident who began to beg us for change. When we got to the second floor, the doors opened to two nurses yelling at each other in front of a patient. I turned my mom around and we left. In addition to the awful environment from the residents and staff, the place also looked very dingy. It hasn't been painted in probably a decade and it had an awful smell. Avoid at all costs.

My step father was a patient here. It's kind of hard to find, but a nice place. My step dad was very happy and well cared for.

My mother is at Oakview and I couldn't be more pleased with the care they are providing her. Every time I visit, she is very clean and occupied with some activity. She seems really happy there and the doctor and nurses are super helpful.

My father is a patient at Oakview. The only thing positive I will say about this place is that the physical therapy staff are wonderful. The rest of the place is horrible. They consistently against my directive would send him to a doctors appointments without first contacting me to let me know when and where he was going. They mixed up most of his appointments, canceled tests he was supposed to have, because they "thought" he already had them done. They sent him to a doctors appointment at 10:30 a.m. and left him and the nurse that went with him at the doctors office until 8:00 p.m. If I call to speak to a nurse or the social worker I am left on hold or hug up on. He only has use of one hand which has tremors so when he eats he drops most of it on himself and nobody helps him. He has bedsores now that they just put cream on, leave him to sit in a dirty Depends if he asks them to change it. And overall the facility is dirty. All of the rooms reek of urine and feces. If you hate your loved one, send them to Oakview. If you care at all PLEASE send them somewhere else.

If someone ever asks me about Oakview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, the first thought that would come to me is what an awful place. For starters the center is not in any means clean. There are stains on the walls, dust everywhere and I put my hand under a counter top and it came out soaking wet with some weird liquid. The staff was, in general, very rude and inattentive. I mean what kind of a facility lets a patient get drop foot and does not say a word to the family. Not to mention, when we were finally moving my grandmother out of the center, we received little to no help. We had to ask multiple times and the nurse that was helping us was extremely rude. She was working on handing out meals and we understand that but seriously lose the attitude when we asked you one thing or better yet very quickly direct us to one of the other nurses idling around. Don't roll your eyes and complain that you're too busy and then ignore us. IT'S YOUR JOB. If anyone working at the facility is reading this please. I implore you to fix something.

the place is not clean, the staff are not too friendly, something is quietly missing, I do not know what it is but you not feel home. Front desk customer service 4/10, HR personnel 3/10 nursing staff 4/10

As far as I know my brother's being well taken care of. He's been in there for a couple of months now and so far so good. Everyone's good.

Situated in a quiet suburban neighborhood, this facility is tucked away in a relatively safe area. The times I've visited the amount of staff present seemed minimal, however, they understood the needs of the residents. To be perfectly honest the facilities seemed like an outdated hospital but at least everything was clean. Amenities, too, seemed to be in paucity. Each room is usually habited by two people per hospital norm. Every room though had a high definition television. This fact perfectly reflects the cold nature of a living facility; plopping residents in front of television in place of human interaction. The positives of this facility come from some of the smaller nuances provided. Immigrants from Korea are all put in one floor, providing a network for those who cannot speak English very well. Staff for them can speak Korean as well. This little touch was very thoughtful. In addition volunteers are numerous, coming by to sit and talk with the residents. Beyond this I can say the only negatives was the outdated feel of the place. Care and services seemed above standard.

I toured this place with some family members and noticed that it was not bad clean at first glance. Then when we began the tour we found that there were some serious issues we had with things. The nursing and administration staff were not actually unfriendly, they were simply not paying any attention to us at all. My brother went up to the front desk to ask a question about one of the services they provide, and was told that she was not able to help him because she was going to lunch. She did not offer to find someone to help him or even give him an idea of who else he could ask for help. There seemed to be no personal touch to this place at all.
