"My husband, Mr.Love, was a patient at Hillhaven in September and part of October 2024. I am proud of the workers at Sterling Hillhaven Health Care Center. The faculty and staff are hard workers and they give lots of attention to their jobs and patients. The rooms are very clean, the food is good (if you have allergies or don’t eat a pork) inform the nurses and staff. The nurses and staff are very friendly and I had fun laughing with them! In September, Hillhaven had a “Carnival Day” I entertained the patients outside with a magic show! It was a happy day for the patients. In October, my husband and I attended an Oktober fest on the 2nd floor, I was impressed with the activities! Way to go activity coordinators! I will return to Hillhaven to entertain with another magic show and as a Storyteller using props. The social worker and manager of nursing are great people, you can go to their office and talk with them anytime! Hillhaven in Adelphi Md is a great place for your love ones! They are wonderful people, take a tour and get to know Hillhaven. I am Mrs.Love written in October 2024."

"The tour I did of Sunrise of Silver Spring's memory care was very good. It was excellent and the coordinator that I met was great. I like the facility, and the staff there seemed very helpful and knowledgeable. The building was clean and very orderly. Everything looks organized. They also have outdoor spaces, and they showed them to me, but it was snowing so we didn't go outside."

"My husband is in Brighton Gardens of Friendship Heights. They have excellent activities. It's a very nice facility and it's big. The common spaces and the living spaces are very generous. Some professional musicians are brought in frequently. They have a very good nursing staff. The staff is very good. It's not what I would want to eat every day, but it's very good food. They could redecorate a bit, but I think it's fine. It's very clean. They have lots of activities, field trips, lectures, lots of music, and arts. It's very expensive, but the rooms are very nice, much bigger than most of the other Sunrises that I've visited."

"I toured Modena Reserve at Kensington. It was beautiful. It was open and light. I liked the restaurant set up for the dining. It was very pleasant. They had a lot of activities, and the rooms were nice. Everything was great. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant, and very helpful. They had a lot of lectures. They had music, physical therapy, and other therapies in the building."

"It is a very nice facility. It's located in downtown Bethesda. The space felt smaller compared to the other place because it's a city facility, but it's very well-appointed. The common areas were spacious, but it didn't feel as spacious as the other place. I kind of expected that because it was a city setting. I really, really like the person who toured me. She was excellent. The rooms were very nice and very bright. They were good size and well-appointed. I really like the facility, but I felt the outdoor space was a little limited compared to other places that I saw. I did not try the food, but the dining room was very nice."

"Sunrise of Bethesda is very open and fairly new. There is lots of light. A very friendly atmosphere. However, there are not that many grounds. There's a small patio area and kind of a border, but there's no extensive grounds or landscaping. The staff who toured us was very friendly, candid, and very nice. As we made our decisions and had questions, she was very willing to talk to us. We had lunch and it was fine, but I don't have extensive knowledge. It was just an ordinary lunch, it was nothing spectacular, but it was fine. For activities, I observed exercise in the morning, and I observed the activities director with a group, but we only stayed a few minutes. Everyone looked engaged."

"The facility is very clean and orderly. Mrs. Ada is on top of everything from communicating with resident doctor and medications administered. The staff is very nice and attentive to residents. Everyone is really concerned for residents and very respectful. My brother enjoys being there. His health has improved. I appreciate them. "

"Grand Oaks Assisted Living looked attractive. The apartments, although small, were very nicely done. The staff was very friendly. They showed me some of the community activity areas that looked attractive, too. It was inviting and upscale. The sales rep was very focused on what I was saying and attentive. He just made a good impression on me. I liked the dining area. It felt like a nice upscale restaurant, rather than just kind of a cafeteria feeding place."

"The Terraces At Tuckerman Lane are for people that need assisted living. But for what it was, that place was extremely clean and beautiful. When I was there, they were having happy hour, and they offered wine and popcorn or something like that. That place was very nice, but the rooms were extremely small. I didn't see anything like an exercise room, and I don't know if those people are capable. They didn't look like functioning adults as they did at the other place. The staff were extremely nice. Even though they knew that I wasn't interested, they insisted on the tour. I realized it wasn't what I was looking for, but they were very courteous and spent a lot of time with me."
