My friend is in Brightview of Catonsville. It was assisted living, but you still had your own apartment. There was staff that would check on you every day throughout the day to make sure you were OK. They had a formal dining area where you could go down and eat your meals with other residents. It's a beautiful facility. It had beautiful grounds. I think I did see an activities area, a salon, a gym, and a formal dining area.

I love the surroundings at Brightview Catonsville. I love the fact that the staff was extremely friendly. There was a large porch where you could sit out and enjoy the weather. I like the Eating-Together program. The rooms were very, very cozy. They looked a lot like the bigger bedroom that you would have at home. I like the fact that they had entertainment for the residents. In the event of an emergency, there was someone there to help. There was a salon there also, which I thought was very nice.

We've chosen Brightview of Catonsville for my mother-in-law because it's a smaller scale. It's less distance for my mother-in-law to walk to the dining room and the mailbox. But it's not too small, there are just enough residents there that she can interact with. It was a pretty setting, around trees and everything. The rooms were clean and nice and they had a lot of different programs that they offered, as well. They had 24-hour nursing care and staff. The food was very good. All of the food was prepared by a chef. When they would go to dinner, it was like going to a restaurant. They could choose from a menu. The staff were all amazing. My mother-in-law loved it as well.

Brightview of Catonsville was very nice. I saw an empty room, but it was fine. The person who gave me the tour, she took a very long time with me and was excellent. I only saw one room that was unfurnished, and they just had somebody move out, so it hadn't yet been painted or cleaned out. I saw their common areas. When I visited, it was during dinner time, so all the residents were eating.

We visited someone that was in Brightview Catonsville, but she's no longer there. I think she was there for three years. It seemed very nice, very friendly, and clean. She had a one-bedroom. It seemed very comfortable for a person that was not able to quite live by themselves, but still able to do some things on their own. They were very nice and very friendly people. They had a chef that did the cooking. They had a lot of activities for the residents. Everything seemed very clean. The staff were very friendly and very nice. Based upon what I've seen, it's a beautiful place for someone that needs assisted living. The friendliness and the cleanliness are definitely a 5-star. The main thing is that it's very expensive.

Brightview of Catonsville is a nicer community. Everybody there (the residents and the staff) seems to have a lot of interaction with each other. It just felt like a better and smaller kind of active community. The initial transition was very good. There's been a decent amount of communication to get my mom settled in and I feel they actually are paying attention and engaged with the residents pretty well. The staff is warm and engaging. They have religious services, other activities every day, social gatherings, stretch classes, and exercise. She seemed to be fine with the food. I think they're doing a good job with that.

We also did visit Brightview Catonsville. The offer assisted living. What I like about them is that they offer very creative activities that they do. I just didn’t like the location, because it was right on a busy road. They didn’t have any grounds.

We found Brightview of Catonsville for my cousin. They all seem very caring, very knowledgeable, and very conscientious. They're wonderful with the clients. There are different levels of rooms. You can take your own furniture, and their rooms are very well kept up. Every room has a bathroom. Some have a shower, and some don't. They provide all the linens too. They have a very nice dining area. They have crafts, they go out on bus trips, and they have a theater. They also have access to a doctor, a podiatrist, or whatever they need.

Brightview Senior Living is close to our home. The facility is really nice, but it was just out of our price range and they didn’t have memory care at that time and that was another factor. The staff were all friendly and I was able to speak to some of the tenants and they were all very happy there as well and they all seemed very friendly too. The place is very clean and very nicely done. I was able to observe the friendliness of the staff to their tenants and that was very important to me. The facility is also very close to shopping malls as well as to the senior center.

Everything was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful and the facility was beautiful. The buildings and grounds are kept in great shape and seem very pleasant to live in. The library is well kept and diverse enough to provide books for all types of readers. The transportation system is smooth, a ride can be provided for any member within 10 minutes of asking. In addition to this, there are plenty of activities for members including an exercise room, arts and crafts, and a restaurant that has a good selection of food. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone looking for a good assisted living center.

I feel that the Facility is fabulous. Most of the works there do a amazing job taking care of the elder. Some could us a bit of improvement but for the most part the people who run the buildings are wonderful and very experienced people.

My experience with Brightview was ok. From what I could see, the residents seemed more lively than in other facilities with which I am familiar. The staff were generally friendly and understanding of the residents. The facility itself was clean and nicely furnished, with comfortable chairs and bookshelves that looked like they could go in someone's home. This gave the facility more of a homey feel, as opposed to a cold clinical, hospital like feel one may be more accustomed to with other assisted living facilities. Most of the staff seemed as if they had good enthusiasm for their jobs. The land on which the facility sits was previously owned by a church next door; at the time I had my experience with Brightview, a minister did both a weekly Sunday service at the facility and a weekly Wednesday Bible study. From what I could tell from my own experience, Brightview Assisted Living Facility engages residents' body, mind, and soul.
