Ovalstone is a residential care home. It's similar to a nursing home, but it's in an actual home. Right now, there are three patients who are there. We chose it because of the cost. In addition to that, when you walk into the place, it looks really nice, and you wouldn't be embarrassed to have your family member there. That's what I enjoy about it the most. I like it because it's a small setting. The thing I also like about it is they bring all the services in. Mom's primary care physician is able to come in. My mom is black. The people would say they have a hairdresser who comes in, but the hairdresser who comes in doesn't know how to do black hair, and they don't know how to relax someone who looks like my mom. So that is important to me that the staff is culturally competent. The staff is wonderful. We're very religious, and the staff there is also very religious, and they're Christians as well. There are two nurses there who are there 24 hours a day. They help my mom with feeding, bathing -- all the stuff that she really needs assistance with. They tell us when my mom needs something. There was an incident where my mom wanted to have a medical procedure, and they were really, really helpful. They went to the hospital to see my mom. They have good-sized rooms. They have a semi-private and a private room. My mom is in a private room. Their food is very good. Their caretakers are Jamaican. We're from Connecticut, so we grew up around a lot of people from the Caribbean. They have activities like crafts and things.
