"Sunrise of Louisville was very nice and very clean. I liked the rooms. The staff answered all my questions and were very nice. I liked it. It was a nice layout. I know some of the places I toured didn't have a memory unit, and Sunrise did. I liked the rooms. I think my furniture would fit in there nicely. The atmosphere was nice. They had a nice entryway and a nice open lobby."

"Vivera Senior Living was very beautiful, nice, and clean. The staff was very nice. The dining room was set up very nicely. I don't know anything about the food. I just did a short tour and shown a room that my friend will be taking if he gets admitted there. They explained a few things about the activities, but didn't show us where they were at or anything like that. They have patios where you could sit out and smoke. It's a very nice place."

"I went to Creekside on Whipps Mill for a tour. Everything seemed to click. It has much better security. I felt much more at ease about it. It is also based on a family-type program where they brought everybody together, like for meals and whatever. They were very friendly and very caring. We got to talk with some of the people in memory care. They came up to us and asked us about my brother. They seemed like they would be able to take care of his needs. They were very clean, and they had so much stuff to offer."

"I toured several facilities before finding The Ashton. I thought because it was such a beautiful place it would be out of our price range. It was actually more affordable than most places close to my mom’s home. What sets The Ashton apart is really the staff and I mean all of the staff. They are happy, attentive, caring and engaging not only with my mom but with me and our family. Mom’s one bedroom apartment is perfect and she has everything she needs. More important than everything listed above is that my mom keeps telling us how happy she is there, and doesn’t even miss her home, which is shocking to all of us. She had lived in her home for 62 years and did not want to leave it, but the time came where she knew she needed a little less space, more community, and more available care. We are thrilled with how happy she is being at The Ashton."

"I toured Christian Care Communities - Middletown. The gentleman who showed me around was very helpful and pointed out a lot of things in the apartment that would be nice: a washer and dryer, a refrigerator with a freezer, and access to the bathrooms. There were two doors to each bathroom, and it was handicapped-accessible. It had the braces there to hold it in the bathroom. It was very nice."

"We toured the assisted living of Riverbend, but even though we did not visit the separate building that is dedicated to memory care, I was very, very impressed with the detail they gave about their memory care. Well, the rooms in the assisted living were spacious, but we didn't get to see the room that she actually wanted to show us. The one we went into was nice, but it was sure jam packed with stuff. The marketing lady and the administrator seemed a little flustered, like they were being spread a little too thin, or something at the time we were there. I mean, she didn't cut us short on anything. They explained about the food, you know, that they have a chef and choice, and the fact that they had to change their usual style because of COVID requirements, but we didn't exactly sample anything. They got a courtyard. The dining area looks more like a cafeteria, it's like they had it spread out a little little like a buffet."

"Vitality Living Springdale was extremely nice and clean. The staff was great. The food was good, and that was a big thing. It was a nice place. I like the fact that they can order off of a menu; I like that a lot. That is one of the big things. They have an exercise area and a movie theater. And then they have snacks and stuff for the residents in the dining area."

"I liked The Mansion on Main. Because it was historic, they couldn't put carpeting on the main hall. So, it was a little noisy, but you can't hold that against them. The staff was wonderful. I liked the way the apartments were. I looked at the size of the one that I would want, and I liked the way that those were decorated. It was furnished and it was nice, but I wasn't crazy that there wasn't any carpeting on the floor."

"My parents have been at Story Point for two years, and we are very happy with the environment and care they receive. The staff is kind, caring and professional, and always willing to help my parents in any way they can. The facility is clean and well-maintained and Management has always been available and responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend Story Point for assisted living and senior care."

"We are in Westminster Village Kentuckiana, and we are so happy to be here. We love it. The atmosphere is fantastic. The people care a great deal about their patients. My wife and I get to live in the same apartment. She's in assisted living, and I'm in independent living, but we share this apartment. The meals are fantastic and well prepared. They cook over a thousand meals here a year, and they have a high score of at least 98% of the time because they have very good meals. I haven't had a bad meal since I got here. The residents are very friendly. The women outnumber the men, but it's OK. I've made friends with the men here. The service is so gracious. I came home late for lunch, and they had a plate waiting for me when I got here. I went into the dining room, and they brought it to me, and I just sat down and ate. It was a wonderful meal. It was a salad with vinaigrette dressing on it. It was an excellent choice. What they have to work with, they do work with it. It's not sterile. It is a very comfortable environment. It's gracious living. For the price, it cannot be beaten. They fit my needs. The activities are very good. Value for the money is five stars. You couldn't go wrong if you pointed your customers or people in this direction. They were happy that we had Medicaid. We were sharing a handicapped apartment in New Albany, and this is much more affordable than I thought it would be."

"I toured Harmony at Tucker Station. It was very well laid out. The decor was beautiful and it was very clean. The people there seemed very nice and helpful. The staff was very professional and very friendly."

"My mother has moved into Traditions at Beaumont. What I like most is that all the people who work there are nice and friendly. My mother's caregivers watch over her very well. I'm very happy with the place. The staff members are the best. The building is very nice and very well-kept, too. They have a good variety of food and nice choices like fruits, vegetables and meats. It's a very nice meal. The rooms are very nice, too. They're all a little bit different, but well taken care of with fresh paint, and the floors are always kept nice and clean. Some are more spacious than others depending on whether a couple or a single person is living there. As for the atmosphere, they have an activities director who always gives them little games and little projects, so everybody seems happy. They've decorated pumpkins. They do a little bit of crayons and painting. They made little bird feeders out of bagels and put seeds on them with peanut butter for the birds to enjoy. They've got a lot of projects. I highly recommend it."

"My wife and I went to Bennett Place last night. They met me over at the hospital, and they talked to my father-in-law's social worker just before I got there. They were very nice and their facility is very nice. They assessed him at a level three need of memory care, and that's probably accurate, but it's $1800. As it increases to level four, five, and six, it eventually ends up at $3300 just for the memory care, so with the $3700, for the room plus $3300, that's $7000 a month. We can't afford it. I'd recommend them to anybody. It's excellent. I'd live there myself. I didn't see anything negative at all. Casey was the lady I first contacted on the phone, and she said that Jason was her boss. Both of them were very nice and very kind. They went out of their way to go to the hospital. The night shift nursing manager, Lachelle, was very, very nice."

"Magnolia Springs East was beautiful. They had a lot of great activities on a calendar and activity rooms, but my father is going to need skilled care and my mother needs personal care. The rooms were beautiful and fantastic, and the staff was really helpful and nice."
