My father is at Countryside Meadows. I like it because there are only around twelve to eighteen people there, and they take personal care of them. I think they get more personal attention. It seems very well kept and clean. Right now, they get them out by the social room where they watch TV. The rooms surround the big kitchen and the social room, so I am pleased with that. The staff are so far very good. They are very friendly and communicative. They keep us informed, and they seem to take care of my father the way I want him taken care of.

CountrySide Meadows is a small facility. They only have 20-21 beds, and it's really more personal there. There are people there who probably need to be in a nursing home, but they take care of them. My mother wasn't happy there, she had to move out of her room. She had a single room to herself. They have two to three people working on their staff and the most they ever had is 20 people since there are only 20 rooms, so you get more like one-on-one care. There's less workload on the people that take care of the residents. Their activities were minimal, and there's really no amenities there.

Countryside Meadows was homey, but very small, and it's mostly women. It's nice, but it wasn't for my dad. The staff was very nice and friendly. The dining area was homey, nice, and clean. The facility was small, dark, and not very modern.

Countryside Meadows was really nice, and it's more down to earth than most of the other places I visited. The residents were just chilling and they looked like they were just at home. One lady was laying back in a recliner and one man was just chilling in his bed like normal people. It was a more normal atmosphere than all the other ones that I visited. The facility was like an old house, but with updated rooms. The price range was in the right area for me. I liked the person running it. They were very non-judgmental and probably would have more patience with your relative. I was really impressed with the management staff more than everything else. I got the feeling that they would be kind to my mother. You don't have to pay extra for the memory care. It's like you're going to somebody's house that you know. The manager was involved with everything like the cooking and the cleaning.

Countryside Meadows is clean, nice, and just like a family home. The dining area is bright and open. The rooms are clean and of good size. I was there the other day, and they were painting little ceramic figures, and sometimes they watch television together or they do the girls' nails. Different things that people around in their 90s can do. Sometimes they also play games. It's a nice place.
