"My mom stayed at Thornton Terrace Health Campus. The place was very good and my mom was well taken care of. The people and the staff were very nice, down to earth, and caring. We just couldn't afford the price. I liked that it's really close to home, so it was really convenient. They kept Mom active and they also took her on field trips. They kept her motivated."

"My mother is a resident of this facility. She suffers from Severe Dementia and Advanced Parkinsons. I am her Guardian. I receive NO communication as to her physical or medical condition unless I demand it. I am notified as SOON as there is a financial issue, however. This was the only facility that offered a Medicaid bed at the time of her transfer. That does not mean she should receive subpar care and consideration nor should I. "

"The rooms were dirty. The bathrooms even worse. Interactions with Staff? Really....they were the worse people I have ever interacted with in my life. I have to assume that the staff receives training on how to be rude to patients and their guest. Only activity I saw there was smoking. Signs in the rooms give the smoking times. Or as the sign says "Smokeing Times"......And they were gathered up like cattle and sent them on their way. The community should do something about this place. Either close it or restaff... My sister died there. She died in the worst conditions anyone should die in.....And yes, I was there to see it all happen......"

"I volunteered at silver bell nursing home about 5 years ago and it was an amazing experience. The facility was in great condition very sanitary clean and organized. The residents were well taken care of. I enjoyed the opportunity to meet and spend time with the employees and residents of this facility. I think the dietary feed the residents well and they had a great variety. I love working with the mis fortunate and making a difference in someones life. The residents were like family. I would go back and volunteer any time. They had all the correct lifts and equipment that you would need. the grounds were well maintained and it was just over all a homey and peaceful place. You wouldn't look at it like a nursing home. I would highly recommend this placement for anyone who needs the help. They can expect all the great things you would receive at home but you wouldn't be in the comfort of your own home. All in all. I would rate this facility a nine on a scale of one to ten "

"My dad was at Baptist Hospital Northeast for a short while. He got COVID, so he was in there for a brief period. It was excellent. He was there for a week, they seem to be very attentive, and I was very pleased with his stay there. The value was quite higher than the one he is in now, but it was a nursing home versus assisted living. Basically, you have your hospital staff there as if you are in a hospital, but you are in a nursing home-type situation. It seemed to be staffed by the hospital-staff personnel. It was clean. They were well staffed. It was COVID, so I did not visit that much, but the communication was very good. I was very satisfied. If my father were here, he would have said it was attentive and very homey."

"I will move into Lutheran Community Home. I have friends who live there, and we have a dining area we can go to if we want to eat. We have a kitchenette, but if I want to go eat in the dining room I can. There are all kinds of activities going on. They have entertainment come in the evening mostly. The staff was nice and helpful. The food was fine. The facility was very clean. The buildings aren't that old. I went to a luncheon where they had entertainment. My daughter went with me and met a lot of friends that I didn't know were there that day. There are elevators all over the place and nice hallways."

"My mom moved into Covered Bridge Health Campus. It's a good, homey place. Everybody is nice, and they are tending to her needs just fine. They just went above and beyond to help me get her in there, as far as getting her on the PathWays program. The food is fine. She likes it. The facility is always nice, clean, and roomy, and there are lots of places for them to gather and do activities. They take them on bus trips. They do bingo, and they have a happy hour on Friday evenings."

"From the first phone call, first visit, and to the current time, I have not met one staff member at Friendship Manor, from top to bottom, who has not been more caring and helpful to take meet the needs of my dear sister who has Alzheimer's. It is amazing how the various services work in unity to provide individual attention to the residents and family members. It is comforting to know that my loved one is in their care. I am forever grateful. God bless."

"I went to The Willows at Springhurst a year ago. I liked it, it's nice. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. The apartments were very nice. The upkeep was very nice. The dining area was nice, easy to move around in wheelchairs or walkers. I didn't like the cost, it was high. It's not far from where I live now, which is pretty close to my daughter, and you can move around there and walk around there. There's no reason to leave, except for my medical appointments. Pretty awesome, haircuts, pedicures, and manicures, they have that in there. If I do need to go someplace, they have a van that can take me."
