Didn't want me to post

1. Rooms are small, with 2 people in room, not wheelchair accessible. 2. Staff unable or unwillingly to answer questions. 3. Left numerous messages for Administrator to call, never did. 4. Roommate had TV blaring all hours of day and night, unable to sleep well, or carry on a conversation on phone or if visitor in room. Staff was told numerous times. 5. Room extremely cold, roommate kept thermostat on 70, when turned up would go back and turn down, staff notified to no avail. 6. No water pitchers in rooms. 7. Food was barely at room temperature. 8. No care plan discussion at anytime during several weeks of stay.

Total chaos. No one seems to be in charge on the floor. No coordination of services, no one managing overall care plan for patient. Inability to remediate problems or don't want to bother to do so. Unbelievably poor.

Kindred Transitional Care was nice, but they didn’t have facilities for dementia people or Alzheimer’s. I didn’t go to any of the rooms; I went into the facility. I’ve been in there before because of people that I knew who were in there, and it’s a nice place.

Kindred Sellersburg is an extremely clean facility. My husband is currently a patient in that facility. The food is satisfactory, and the rehab program is very good. They do have different activities like music every week. They also have care dogs, but my husband is not able to participate in any of those.

The staff is wonderful to my Aunt.. The facility is always clean. There is NO odors, no crying residents the evenings are peaceful, and the meals are supervised by a "degreed" dietician.
