The staff were very nice and wonderful. Mom told me if she had to go or was going to go to some place, she would go there and I would move her in there in a heartbeat. "

"Autumn Trace seemed a nice enough place. The staff who gave us the tour did a very good job of taking us around and explaining everything. The place looks very nice inside since it's brand new. The rooms are adequate and nice enough and seemed like a good design. All of the people we talked to and dealt with were nice. It was all one floor, and at each corner of the facility, they had an screened or glassed-in porch area where you can sit out. They also had laundry facilities on all four corners."

"We toured the Four Seasons. I liked it all on one level. Every apartment had a little outside patio. They had a little kitchen, so you could do your cooking if you wanted to cook. They had a washer and dryer. I liked that. In the little kitchen area, they had a separate little counter. The maintenance was fine. I like their eating area. We didn't eat there, but when we walked by, it had high ceilings. It looked like a nice restaurant kind of atmosphere. I thought it looked pleasant. The staff was very good."

"My mom is in Silver Oaks Health Campus' skilled nursing facility for rehab. I think they are very hands on. She's receiving all the different therapies almost every day. She does physical, occupational, and speech therapy. It's a tight knit community as it's not a very large facility, so everybody knows everyone. My mom knows all the nurses and all the aides, so it's very comfortable for her. She doesn't feel like a number. She feels important. Her room is very simple, just a bed, a recliner, and a side table. It's nothing fancy, but the upkeep and maintenance are adequate. I have not noticed anything that needs to be repaired, so everything's kept up to date. I think the staff members are all very friendly and helpful. I also think they have a nice variety of food. She's been eating three meals a day, which is unusual for her. I think they have a wide variety too. The activities for her are during what they consider speech therapy. She plays bingo and different things like that, but it's really to work her mind. She also went to church. She found out where the church service was, so she has participated in that. Other than that, she's busy with rehab all day long."

"The thing I liked the best about Skyline Suites Assisted Living is it's a very small community. They only have 12 units there, so there's very individualized attention. I'd give it a five-star on all the ratings as far as the building and the staff. The room was in excellent condition. What I saw was empty and it had been repainted and was ready for a guest. It was a large studio. They have an activities room. They provide a hairdresser included in the cost. They take the people to doctors' appointments locally. They provide laundry service and general cleaning and make the bed and stuff every day there."

"My mom stayed at Thornton Terrace Health Campus. The place was very good and my mom was well taken care of. The people and the staff were very nice, down to earth, and caring. We just couldn't afford the price. I liked that it's really close to home, so it was really convenient. They kept Mom active and they also took her on field trips. They kept her motivated."
