"Brown County Health and Living's location was convenient for us. I lived in the same town as the facility so I knew the people in the area. The rooms were basic. They kept them clean. They were big enough for 2 beds. There was nothing special about them but it was important to me that the staff did take care of their facility. If there were any complaints it would be that the food wasn't great. The people seemed to be very caring though. I felt they addressed my parents' needs and they were always there to listen if I had any concerns. They made sure I was happy with the facility. There were times that the atmosphere seemed depressing since it's a nursing home. My father especially didn't feel like there was much for him. His condition wasn't as bad as my mom's, therefore he felt kind of isolated. My mom didn't seem to complain about the services though. "

"My mom moved into Covered Bridge Health Campus. It's a good, homey place. Everybody is nice, and they are tending to her needs just fine. They just went above and beyond to help me get her in there, as far as getting her on the PathWays program. The food is fine. She likes it. The facility is always nice, clean, and roomy, and there are lots of places for them to gather and do activities. They take them on bus trips. They do bingo, and they have a happy hour on Friday evenings."

"My aunt was a past resident of Lutheran Community Home. She was there for about six months. Sometimes people were sitting around needing help and the staff was all clustered together somewhere instead of tending to the residents. My aunt wasn't as kept as clean as she could have been. The facility is nice. She was in a private room, just like a little studio thing. They seemed to be doing a lot of things. They seemed to have a lot of activities."

"Assisted living facility was very clean, smelled great. So many times you can go into facilities and smell foods, or daily caregiving smells but it actually smelled like home. Staff greeted me several times and asked if I needed help with anything. I wanted to take my grandmother out to the nice courtyard and they assisted me, they did not act bothered. "

"Every employee from the office management to healthcare providers are the friendliest and most helpful group of incredible people I have ever met under one roof! I am so grateful to have my Mom under Homeview’s care. The facility also has the best maintenance and housekeeping you could ever ask for. Very impressive as an honest opinion as I have visited several facilities in the past either to spend time with a resident or to provide entertainment. The rooms are spacious and well taken care of with everything a resident needs. I always enjoy attending the special events offered for all to attend. "

"This home is older and does not look like it has been updated in a long time. The art on the walls is outdated and so is the flooring. This is the only reason i would not give it 5 stars. The staff is attentive and friendly and makes my grandmother feel at home. I visit all hours of the day and night to check on her and pick up and drop off things for her. No matter what the hour the staff is at the same level of service, excellent. The place is always clean and all the other residents always appear happy and well taken care of when I visit. The food is excellent. They offer a visitor menu and from time to time I have trialed the food. It is actually really good. I am a little concerned about the lack of security at the front door. There is no code or lock to keep people out that do not belong there. Otherwise, my grandmother is doing very well and seems to be happy which our biggest concern is! "

"The staff at Franklin United Methodist Community was nice and good. The place was clean and did not have any smell. They had good-sized white rooms and a big cafeteria. "

"My aunt was at Hickory Creek for a year. The staff was amazing, the care was great. All of them didn't mind doing their job. There was a good staff over there, and they act like they know what they were doing. One thing I didn't like about it is there's no family room. You have to use the cafeteria, but when they serve lunch, there's no place for the family to go. Other than that, the place was perfect. I've been up there when they'd done a whole cleaning of the rooms. They stripped the rooms, brought everything out of the bedrooms, washed the walls, and cleaned the floors. It's a clean place. I was impressed. "

"The Villas at Ashford Place is equally as good as with the other facility I visited. It was nice and clean. The helpers were helpful. The rooms were good. I would recommend this place to others. "

"My sister is at Morning Breeze Retirement Community and Healthcare. She's getting therapy there. It's OK. She's in a therapy room. They have games, and really pretty dining room. They can go outside and sit on the swings and chairs."

"My mom is at Aspen Place now. Their price is a little higher. The place is clean and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Food is good; that's the best part for her. There are plenty of activities. They are pretty expensive, but it is a nice place. She has been there for about two months now. The location is good. It is close to the hospital and close to everything in town."
