Greenfields is a relatively new facility that has great facilities and looks nice. It recently changed ownership and some improvements in dining have resulted. There have, however, been more than a few broken pipes/flooded areas incidents, most recently causing one dining room to be out of service for a few weeks and several residents to be displaced from their apartments for several months. In addition, some residents have also been without access to a tv signal and therefore unable to watch tv for over two weeks.

My mother will be moving into GreenFields of Geneva. We chose it mostly because of the location. It's very close to one of my other siblings. She'll be going to memory care. I like that there was a separate dining area like each area was separate. It looked like a smaller dining space for memory care and the unit itself was in a U-shape. They have nursing staff available 24 hours a day. The staff during the tour was great. She gave us a lot of information, was upfront, and has helped us through this process as we are starting the move. What they had to offer in terms of activities and the availability of physical therapy and speech therapy is five stars. We have to have a doctor prescribe that, but it's nice that it could be onsite.

I toured GreenFields Geneva. I very much like the atmosphere there. It's very home-like and very well-kept. The residents that I encountered were all so pleased to be there. They felt that things were handled very well during the pandemic. The ones that I talked to didn't feel that they had been closed off from others, and yet they were protected. They provided them with food and took them to their apartments. Even though they were in their apartments and not going out and mixing, they had some musical groups that came. They also played outside in different areas of the buildings. They just kept people involved in things. I talked to quite a few residents (because I was there a few different days) and I got good feedback from them about the place. The residents told me that they thought that the food was pretty good. I saw their two-bedroom apartments. They had them laid out with the two bedrooms on either side of the apartment with the living room in the middle. All the amenities for the kitchen were in there. I was told when you move in that they're in the process of replacing all of the appliances. They are doing all that they can to allow you the opportunity to move into a well-maintained apartment. From my perspective, I like having that kind of a smaller living place that's not quite so institutional feeling. The food was excellent, too.

My husband and I went to look at GreenFields of Geneva. They have everything from independent living to memory care and nursing care. We got an invitation to come and tour the place with other people. It was a group of retired people. It was lovely, the common areas were beautiful and there were lots of activities. We decided that we'd feel claustrophobic going from our house to that apartment, so we've decided that it's not for us. The apartments were very nice, but they were just too small for us. The place was very clean. The person who gave us the tour wasn't from there, she was from another nursing home so we would ask her questions and she couldn't answer them. So we had to find out from somebody else, but everybody was very accommodating. It's a beautiful facility with nice furniture, lots of activities, the dining spaces are nice and the outside spaces are nice.

The biggest selling point of GreenFields of Geneva for us was that it has a life plan, so my sister can stay there the rest of her life. She moved there a week ago, and she's in assisted living. Everyone there is very polite. The place is very clean, and the food smells wonderful. I'm very pleased. The staff is very helpful. They answer any questions that I have, and they seem to know what they're talking about. I haven't tasted the food, but it looks wonderful. It smells delicious, and everyone says it's very good. My sister is in quarantine right now because she came from another nursing home; she's not able to go down. They do bring her food up, and she's been very happy with it. Her room is clean and big enough. Her furniture fits well there, and she has a nice view outside. I've looked at several places and GreenFields is comparable or better than some of the other places that I looked at.

My husband was in Greenfield's of Geneva for rehab. If you're looking for somebody to go to rehab, then that's only Greenfield because they're top of the line. They were good with him and then they came to the house. They take Medicare and we have Medicare. He can stay there as long as he's improving, and he had improved to the point where he was walking pretty good and then they sent him home. They came out a couple of times a week to help him. And he had an occupational therapist along with a physical therapist and the nurse. And that was all through Greenfield, they handled it. They're good. Even during the pandemic, he was in there and I couldn't go up. They had it situated so that we could drop a package off in the vestibule and just leave it there with his name and room number, and if he wants to send something home, they dropped it in the same place. It was wonderful. Whatever he wanted, he was not limited to anything like that. And then they had a place set up where you could visit through the windows and see each other through the windows. They'd bring them down and put them in front of a window, so you could visit with them back and forth by phone because he had a cell phone and we did, too. And so we could call him and talk through the window. As far as cleanliness goes, you can't beat it; food, can't beat it. People were friendly, they had as much food as they want to take and you ring the call button and they were right there. They give the medicine on time. The doctor came in to visit with him and they had a foot doctor come in and trim the nails. They got a beauty shop there for the lady to get their hair done. They had it all and they had entertainment. They have a senior living there as well as three sections for rehab over there, and three different degrees of it. They had activities going on most of the day, and they made sure they would come into the room and announce that it's time to do this or time you do that. It's kind of a family thing where they all participate and help each other and they let you do that. If you can afford it, I'd say it's great. The place is packed. They have seniors living there and apartments. I'd say the value was awesome because if he was busy doing something and they wanted him at rehab, they'd come back and get him later. So he got all the treatment he was supposed to get. And then anytime he wanted to get up and walk without it being rehab time, all he had to do was push a button and an aide would come and take him for a walk. They have the facilities and they have the staff; they're nice. I can't complain about anybody. There were a couple of people over there that even shined more than the others. I would highly recommend them.

I went to GreenFields in Geneva for a tour over two years ago. It was very clean and the apartments were very nice, but it was not really a place that I would be interested in because the hallways reminded me too much of a hotel. The staff was very good, very personable, and answered all of my questions. We talked to someone about the activities too. I remember that they had a beauty shop for the hair, and a big laundry room. I didn't really find anything negative there. We also had a meal there, and the food was really good, very well-prepared, and the dining room was also very nice.

I highly recommend Greenfields Assisted Living & Skilled Nursing levels of care as my parents have experienced both. My mom And dad moved in together into Assisted Living in October 2018. Since then my dad has graduated to skilled nursing. However we knew this was a potential and that’s why we chose Greenfields. They have every level of care for every level of need that my parents could ever need and it was very important to keep them together, under one roof. My mom in assisted-living has a beautiful spacious bright high ceilings and many windows one bedroom apartment with a kitchen efficiency. The staff is top-notch nurses and CNAs 24/7.

GreenFields is a big and new facility; it’s only a couple years old. They have nice rooms; they’d be big enough for what I need. They have a director of activities. The dining area looks nice.

I liked that Greenfields had not so many people. While you have 200 to 300 apartments in other places, you only have less than a hundred in this one. The staff was very knowledgeable. I do know they went over to a place in Batavia to take a breath and do some activities.

Greenfields of Geneva is a newer place, so it is clean. The staff there is very nice. The food is very good. My mother is enjoying their food. She has a nice room. It is very well decorated. Her room has a chair, a bed, a little end-table next to the bed, a closet, a dresser, and of course a bathroom. I think they have a variety of activities but Mother is there primarily for rehab. She is mostly doing physical and occupational therapy. However, they did have an anniversary party a couple of weeks ago where they brought in stringed quartet and different people to sing. I also know that they will have a Valentine's Party on Friday. What I like best about this facility is that, we went there one day and my mom was there the next day. I like their admissions policy and how they proceed. They did that very quickly and I like that.

We visited GreenFields and it was actually pretty decent. It was relatively new and it was good with fresh paints and all the amenities. The rooms were quite adequate, bright and nice. I would not have a problem bringing my mother to that facility.
