Everybody at Sunrise of Naperville North was very nice, very helpful, very friendly, and very welcoming. They wanted to explain everything clearly. The room they showed me was a sample room. It looked well set up and well designed. It had a good, handicapped-accessible bathroom, which was what we need. It seemed wide enough for a wheelchair. It seemed very organized and they had community areas. It was very nicely done. It's kind of expensive though, but the setup was well thought out. They had an area around the building where people could go take a walk. It's nicely done with trees. They had a good variety of food on the menu. It looked well-balanced and it looked good.

We moved my father-in-law into Sunrise of Naperville North, and it's been great. The staff members seem fantastic. I have no complaints. I loved the food I had. They have chair exercises, cooking classes, they make Christmas cards, and they have a walking club. His room is great, and he likes it. It's the smallest room they have. The facility is a little bit older than others, but they knew what they were doing.

My 95 year old Aunt has been a Resident of Sunrise of Naperville foe 7 Years, assisted living and now memory care. She, and I, have received the BEST care! The staff Is exceptional in their concern for her physical, emotional and mental needs. The nursing staff has been amazing, their level of care and emotional support is the absolute BEST! The activities for the residents are appropriate and entertaining, enguaging the residents in all levels of care. The food is healthy, fresh and tastes GREAT. I recommend this Facility to anyone in need of assisted living or memory care. Sunrise of Naperville is so much better than most facilities, you owe it to yourself and your loved one to experience the comfort and security of their facility.

My wife has been a resident of Sunrise Naperville North for the past 6 months and we think the assisted living facility is great. My wife had been in a long term care facility for 5 months trying to recover from the 2018 flu but was having difficulties. Once she became a resident of Sunrise her condition improved dramatically and she is now fully recovered. We toured some other assisted living facilities and found that Sunrise was the most comfortable and was more like living in your home. One review said it was dated, but we think it has been configured to be comfortable and inviting and what an older person would like. The room configurations and bathrooms are excellent for a person with mobility limitations. The activities and social interactions are excellent. I am thankful every day that my wife became a resident of Sunrise Naperville North as she recovered completely to where she was several years ago.

Sunrise is a warm and welcoming place from the moment you walk in the building and are greeted by Anne or one of the other friendly and helpful receptionists. The rooms are cheerful and the care top notch. It is the little touches that make this so special. Mom was welcomed from the moment we arrived with a welcome sign and a lovely plant and staff coming by to greet her and introduce her to others. They made her feel special, like they were waiting for her to arrive. My Mom lived at Sunrise the last few months of her life. It was hard to have her move out of our home, but Sunrise couldn't have been more wonderful to her. It offered her a nice social life, my Mom was always the life of the party! She enjoyed her friends and finally engaged in a sport, Balloon Volleyball (I think the first sport activity she ever did as an adult). My Mom loved to eat out in restaurants and the dining room was run like a restaurant with a multitude of items to order. The food is good and they were accommodating with special requests. The staff is amazingly kind and truly seem to care about the residents. Jen and Stephanie are the main administrators and they lead a wonderful staff who took great care of my Mom. I would love to name them all but it is about 80 wonderful people!

We went to Sunrise of Naperville North. It was nice and a little dated, but the price was right. The staff was very nice and seemed very friendly. They were renovating, so I think it is going to look a little more modern when they are done.

I looked at the memory care unit at Sunrise of Naperville, and it was a little bit different. The community was all in one place but it and the rooms were very nice. They had a very nice kitchen where they can bake. It looked very clean, very homey, and pretty. They had enough people to cover everybody, especially in the memory care.

Sunrise of Naperville was awesome, and we really thought it was high class. My husband and I would love to stay here as it was very nice. The woman who took us on the tour was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The dining area was awesome, and the rooms were beautiful. It was a very good experience. I saw a library, a fireplace where they could sit, a meeting room where family members came, bingo, and buses that will take you to the mall. They do have a lot of activities to keep them active.

I toured Sunrise of Naperville North and liked it very much, but it was too far away for me to travel. They had the same spread of activities that were very nice. One thing that I really liked was that they had two dogs that live there and greet you at the door. They had a library, salon, and many table games. They took their clients shopping.

Overall, Sunrise (Sunrise of Naperville North) suited our need for location and level of services. They have a bus and visiting entertainment. The staff members were all relatively similar and interesting. They had a variety of rooms that were all great.

I had a great tour at Sunrise of Naperville North. The staff member was great and spent a lot of time with me, was very helpful, and made me feel welcome. She showed the place very thoroughly, so I was very pleased with the experience. I found the activities to be very positive. If we hadn’t made the decision to have my mom stay at home with a caregiver, we very seriously would have probably pursued Sunrise based on a number of things, including the activities.

My parents are already placed in Sunrise of Naperville North. They have a high ratio of staff to residents and my father needed that. They also have a very nice atmosphere, the staff is very personable, and the living quarters are nice. They haven't done activities yet because they just have been in there for a few days and they're not up to it yet, but they have been trying to get for them to do activities. The food is just OK, it's not great.

Sunrise of Naperville North was fine. The staff was very helpful and very pleasant. I did not have a problem there at all. The rooms and apartments were more than adequate.

Bed bug infestation in the memory care unit and 9 days to take care of it. This place has been a complete disapointment and we are pulling our loved one out of this facility. Food is substandard, caregiving staff is weak and lacks any compassion. Billing department is completely disorganized. This has been a complete disappointment and has created a tremendous amount of stress on our family. The lack of professionalism is appalling, witnessing our loved one unbathed and sitting in their waste was one of the most difficult and horrible experiences. It is a smoke and mirror place, looks good on the outside, however it is an illusion.

We were looking for a memory care facility for my husband so our family visited Sunrise of Naperville North. The facility has assisted living, memory care, and nursing home-type arrangements. We had lunch there, and the food was wonderful. The staff was very nice too. They took extra time for us so we could look at everything. We enjoyed our visit. Even my son-in-law from England, who was a little bit hesitant to go into those places, appreciated the experience we had there.

I and other members of my family have been very happy with the care provided to my Great Aunt. The facility is always very clean, the staff seems very courteous and my Aunt seems happy living there. My Aunt enjoys the social aspects of the facility and visiting with others at meals and various game activities. I've eaten their with her and have to say the food was quite good as well. My only complaint, is sometimes they have seemed to be short staffed at bedtime and have placed my Aunt in bed by about 7:00 PM and it seems to be because they just that many of the clients need their help at this time and therefore, some have to go to bed early than others. But on the whole, it's been a very pleasant experience for my Aunt and made it on myself to know she's well taken care of.

My experience with this particular assisted living facility was not a pleasant one. When I walked in, it felt as if I were in a hospital. The walls were a bleak white color with linoleum floors. My boyfriend told me not to take the elevator because it breaks down all the time. The carpeting was an unattractive dark green and there was a smell of curry throughout the hallway. The resident i was visiting also told me that the other people that live there put food in the laundry room for others. When i looked at the food, a good majority of it was expired.

The bright, open public areas make this a great place for my Mother. The staff does a great job keeping up with her and can always answer my questions. Having her doctor, dentist and specialist come to her are added bonuses. Great job Sunrise.

I will transfer my mother here from another facility. She'll be closer to the rest of the family. This place doesn't look like an institution. It has a fireplace, a sitting room, a game room and only 5 or 6 rooms to a hallway so residents won't get lost. What I like about this place is that they have a sun downing room and an aromatherapy bath with scents of eucalyptus, mint and lavender. These services I didn't find in other places. Other services they provide include memory care unit and lots of activities such as cocktail hour every afternoon when they can talk with each other and interact constantly. They also have games and other mind stimulating activities. I will recommend this place. It's meeting everything I need as of the moment.

I first visited this facility when a family friend became unable to care for herself and had to find alternate living arrangements. Although she was in bad health at the time and we all were quite worried for her, the facilities were very nice and the staff courteous and professional. I haven't spent extensive amounts of time in the facility, but the senior citizens there do seem to be lacking somewhat in direction and sense of community.
