If you are looking for attentive, caring, professionals, in a residence for yourself, or a loved one. This is it. The owners Lynn and Alan are both RNs and are usually there. Luisa is very knowledgeable, and sweet. My loved one is difficult, but they understand the causes, and are more than helpful. Residents tell how much they like the staff. It is a 15 resident facility, so your loved one does not get lost, or missed, as they might in a really large facility. Guardian Home, literally was an answer to prayer

I have had my Mother and my Uncle at the Guardian Home. This was my Mother's 8th facility, and I wish I would have found it first. Granted, it is not fancy! But it is clean and the staff is the best I have found. When it came time for my Mom and Uncle to pass, there was someone there with them, and they were not alone. Louisa is a caring and loving owner. Even though my family members have passed, I still stop in to see the residents. They are always clean, the facility does NOT smell like some others. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for great care and a loving staff.

If I could award 1/2 star, I would. Staff isn't competent enough to answer the phone correctly; forward a call to the administrator for an inquiry. Makes me wonder how they would react in a crisis situation.

It's dingy, Outlets don't work, lights in one bathroom don't work, quite a bit of dust on a constant basis...The kitchen is small and jammed with "stuff" and the owner herself is completely forgetful.
