"I'm in Cascade Heights. The food is excellent. All the people that work here are topnotch. They keep it clean. They have a lot of activities. They have buses to take you to different places. It's got everything you need. I have the apartment with a den. Everything I have fits perfectly. They have different apartment sizes. Any problem you have, they take care of it immediately."

"I toured Tremont. I liked all of it. I liked the setting, which was like a country setting. I like the dining room. It was a beautiful place. The rooms were nice. Everybody was very friendly. Everything was great with that place, however, my friend was not going to be able to stay at that one because she thought that she'd be better off in an assisted living place. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. She was just a nice person. I just saw the dining room and everything was just great with that. They have a salon. They have transportation to and back from doctor visits. The transportation, I think twice a week or at least once a week to a place like Walmart or one of the stores there."

"My mom is a resident of Brookdale Lake Orienta. It's very nice. They keep it very nicely. They don't have so many grounds to walk. She can walk, but it's not so big, but very nice. The staff has been great. They have been very responsive to her. Twice a week they have activities outside the facility where they can go and go to the mall or they go to a play. They do different things. They've got activities on site. They've got a gaming room. They have a beauty salon. They've got an exercise room. She's not in love with the food. She was very picky, so I'm sure the food was fine. I think she doesn't love it."

"I toured the Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs. There's nothing to dislike. Everything is great. The place was cool. It was nice. They were very attentive to the people who live there, the patients. The schedule was on point. They had it posted. So, you're aware of what's going on. They posted the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I like that. The staff was great with the clients. They were pleasant. The guy who did the interview knew his job and what he was doing, and he explained everything. The other staff members were great. I didn't taste the food, but the display they had looked good. The facility was clean, it's pretty decorated, and everything was organized."

"My husband moved into The Grove at Trelago. It's a beautiful place. The residents are well taken care of. They engage the residents. I don't worry about my husband wandering off anywhere because they're watched. The food is excellent. The care is excellent. I have absolutely nothing but praise for them. The staff members are very caring and good with the residents. They have gardens that they can walk through, but it's still confined. Outside their apartments, they have shadow boxes into which they can put memorabilia. It's very well done. The food is outstanding. They have pools, and it looks like a resort. They keep them busy with activities."

"My mother-in-law lived at Woodland Towers. I didn't like the marketing director, but besides that, the place and everything else were great. The cook did a good job, and all the food tasted good. I was satisfied with the food and ate with her once or twice. It's a very nice facility. They had different spaces on different floors and two sides: senior living and assisted living. They kept the residents busy with enough activities to get them through the day, and the value for money was good."

"I toured Brookdale Wekiwa Springs. What I liked most was that the facility was clean. The one apartment they showed me would be perfect for a single person. Also, they had a calendar of activities and transportation to and from medical appointments. The staff seemed happy with their job. I was greeted by a receptionist, and she was very pleasant, was on time with the appointment, and was prepared. She had brochures, and she wasn't reading. She knew the content. She's a good listener. She paid attention to me, which I appreciated, and she responded professionally. They had an elevator, and it was clean. I saw people working and the nursing staff. However, the facility is older."

"We toured Blue Palms Senior Living of Deland. I liked that we met somebody. They showed all the things that were there. There's a cafeteria you can go to, a little gym, and a library. There is independent living here, and assisted living, and there are different steps right there. It was close to downtown. I thought it was great. The person who gave us the tour was a nice lady who was very positive, listened to us, and showed us some different options."

"My husband moved into the Grand Villa of DeLand. They had a lot of things going on to keep people busy if they wanted to. They also have a salon and a movie theater. They have a lot of things to pick from and a swimming pool. The staff is very nice. The food is excellent. He has no complaints about the food whatsoever. There are always extra choices, and he looks forward to eating. He went to the salon, and they gave him a wonderful shave. Everybody was very friendly. It's a very nice atmosphere. The people there are very nice. Everybody always smiles and says hello."

"We had dinner at Gentry Park Orlando. They give you 2 or 3 options with each meal. So, you have some variety. The facility is new, clean, and very appealing. They have a movie room and an activities room. The apartments are kept in excellent condition. They have a bus that takes the residents to the doctor's appointments and several different stores. Then they have an outing where they go to dinner. So, they have lots of activities and it's maintained well."

"My tour at Florida Golden Adult Care went very well. I liked that it was a neighborhood, in that my aunt wouldn't get lost in a giant building. The place was very clean. The staff who toured us was very welcoming and informative. I was given a tour of the house. She showed me the complete facility. The dining area was clean and welcoming. There's a nice big backyard with a screened-in porch to eat out, and there's a TV, too."

"We like Lakeside at Waterman Village a lot. We liked where it was located. It was pretty and very comfortable. They have nice apartments, but at the time, it was out of our price range. Overall, the staff was wonderful. The place was very clean. They presented very well. They had all kinds of activities. It was a nice place. The only drawback was that we couldn't afford it. The staff was amazing. They were very patient and understanding and very capable of answering any questions that we had. They were really nice. They took us on a tour of the entire area. It was just beautiful. The facility was well kept. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful, too."
