My parents have been residents at The Savoy Gracious Retirement Living since last year. They love it there. I like it quite well myself. It's a very nice place. It's new, and it's filling up quickly. The only downfall is they only do senior living. They do bring care inside, but my mom is going to need more care in the future. They love the food there. We've eaten there several times, and the food is awesome. They have a lot of programs. They have physical therapists, occupational therapists, and even voice therapists that are there to assist. The staff is very good, as far as I can tell. They're in a 2-bedroom/2-bath apartment, and it has a small kitchenette. They have a pool and nice outdoor areas for walking. Everything is fresh and new right now, and they keep it up quite well. They also have a shuttle bus that can take them around different places.

I like The Savoy Gracious Retirement Living the best. It's new, so you wouldn't be dealing with old carpets and all. It has the nicest dining room and the nicest menu. The breakfast was very generous. I thought I was only getting oatmeal, but after the oatmeal, they came out and wanted to know if I wanted eggs and how I wanted them. So, it's made to order for you. You could get anything you wanted. It's very similar to a restaurant. It was just a nice community. The room that my parents have is great. While it's an independent living, it's not like nobody's checking on them. They have a couple of staff that live on every floor and they are the ones that serve the coffee, and the tea, and check people out daily. My parents are being treated well and there was even a guest room where I was able to stay overnight. They were having a prom night the weekend I was there. They also have a workout room where you can have therapy done right there (if you need it), a computer area, and a movie theater (which was cool). They also have a nice big recreation area where they have activities going all the time.

I looked at The Savoy, which I really liked. I thought it would be a good place, but it's just a little too expensive. The staff was very helpful. It's beautiful. It's brand new, and it's very efficient the way it's laid out. They have laundry rooms on each floor. Everything is enclosed within the building, and it has a large lobby in the center and a large dining room. They also have a snack bar that's open all the time and an ice cream machine there that's open 24/7. They have a gym. They have a lot of amenities. They have a little library. A lot of the rooms have small balconies. Use of the laundry is included. All the meals are included. They have safety things in their rooms that you can call for if you need help. It is an independent living. If you had a health issue, they would call an ambulance or something. They don't have that kind of help in there. They have three different studio sized apartments. They have one bedrooms, and they have two bedrooms. The only fault I find with it is that it's pretty pricy. It's expensive. I just feel like for what you're paying, there's not as much room as I would like to see in there. The one-bedroom was fine. It had three closets, but the studio was really small. The second and third studio apartments were larger, but they just don't have enough closet. It's open concept because it's a studio. There's no wall there between the bedroom and the living room. There was only one closet and no other storage. It had a patio, too. It's beautiful and brand new, and it's very cheerful in there because everything is painted white. There's a lot of light inside and everything. There are some really nice features of that place. They have a pool and everything.
