My wife was a resident at Lanyard Manor for more than two years where I visited her almost daily. During these visits (at different times of the day) I never witnessed anything but great care and consideration by Greg and Theresa and the staff. They frequently have a list of potential residents waiting to join them. When my time to need assistance arrives, I hope that I will be able to join the Lanyard Manor list of residents.

My mother was a resident at Lanyard Manor for a few weeks before she passed away. I could not have selected a better place for her. The care she received was outstanding. She felt like a member of the family, and was right at home from the first day. I can not imagine a better place. Greg and Teresa are wonderful people and Lanyard Mannor is the only place I would ever recommend for anyone in need of assisted care.

When my mother was finally not able to care for herself in her own home she was fortunate to find a place at Lanyard. She always stressed how happy she was living there and how it became her home with everyone joining into a family. When I visited or spoke to Greg, Theresa or any of the staff I was always impressed with their thoughtfulness and caring. What really bowled me over was when I realized how deeply this went...I hear soft music one afternoon and my mom said, "One elderly gentleman enjoyed playing the drums along with jazz music. It made him happy." I was very impressed! Lanyard Manor is a really special place and I hope many more small, home care facilities open because the need is great.

My Dad was at Lanyard for the last 6 months of his life in 2013. The care he received from Greg and his staff was outstanding. Dad was at a Rehab facility in Orlando recovering from hip surgery for three months prior to Greg taking over his care. Greg went there and met my Dad and got all the necessary information from their staff. He handled the move very professionally and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Greg and his wife Theresa were so helpful not only in providing excellent care for Dad, but also in working with me to sell his condo in College Park and his beloved GTO. I was blown away with all they knew and how much they helped me through a complicated, difficult process. Dad ended up in the Hospice right down the road, as the stage four cancer finally took hold. Lanyard Manor is an outstanding residence and I would recommend it without any reservation. My Dad enjoyed his time there, and I was very happy with the loving care provided by the Greg and his staff.

Both of my parents are current residents of Lanyard and have been for over 2 years. This is a wonderful place! The owners, Greg and Theresa, are like family to us, as are the attentive, caring, and flexible staff. My siblings and I all live out of state and were so worried about the care that our parents would receive. And I can tell you that on many occasions, we have called both the owners and caregivers at Lanyard "our angels." I have no doubt that they not only extended my parents' lives but are also making them the best possible. They were at another, larger facility but were unhappy there. Lanyard has become their home. My parents have many visitors, both local friends and out of town friends and relatives, and Lanyard welcomes them. Every time I visit, I am so pleased with the level of personalized attention that my parents receive. I can not imagine a better place for them.

Both of my parents are 4 year residents of Lanyard Manor. Both have advanced Parkinson's Disease and care needs that can only be described as extreme. Greg and Theresa have become like family to all of us. They and their incredible staff -- who are both skillful and caring -- have been with my parents through many difficult times and do everything they can maintain my parents' feeling of independence despite the fact that their bodies have made them physically dependent on others. I visit frequently and have never seen the facility when it was not spotlessly clean. The facility feels welcoming, and the residents become a second family to each other.

My Mother was a resident of The Lanyards for almost 2 years. Both my sister and myself live out of state and with my mother being frail, both of us were very concerned about the quality of assisted care. What we found out was The Lanyards became an extended family, I can not emphasize this enough. They care, a lot. In my Mothers new home, she was treated as family and the care she was provided, I am confident, was the best anyone could provide. Never did she complain about her new home and liked talking about her activities and relationships with the staff and residents. When she passed everyone at her new home provided outstanding physical and emotional assistance through the most trying time of my life. I can highly recommend The Lanyards without qualification to anyone in need of assisted care for themselves or a loved one.

My mother was the "First Lady of Lanyard", and the only resident for 2 months, when residence opened. She was there 3 years until her passing. I put my mother's care into Greg and his staff's hands with no reviews, or references, because he was just opening the facility. I have TOTAL faith in Greg and his staff, and will HIGHLY recommend this residence to anyone!!! In fact, I have placed my reservation at Lanyard when I need an assisted living.

My mother was a resident at Lanyard Manor for well over a year. The staff is wonderful and caring. They treated my mother with dignity and respect until the day she passed away. Greg Hopcraft was very helpful as we worked with doctors and hospice over the course of my mother's stay at Lanyard. I would 100% recommend Lanyard Manor to anyone looking for long-term or respite care for a loved one.

I placed my failing mother at lanyard manor 7/15/13. The attention she received made the last two months the most comfortable that was humanly possible. Greg and his staff really care. I could not have made a better decision.

I have a parent who has been a long term resident at Lanyard Manor. I can tell anyone without hesitation that you won't find a more caring, nurturing environment for your loved one. They are the kindest, most proficient people there. The ownership is fantastic!
